wow. i had no idea! its weird because i have worked on a couple of tracks with u and i didn't even know what your voice sounded like.
you guys rock. u have great musical skill
Hunta
good effort for ya first track. it reminds me a little of e-rotic. it does get alittle repetative so next time maybe u could make the track progress more. nice one
Hunta
ima get on those vocals asap! but i need a witty rapper too. someone with balls...maybe i'll play timbo for this one with a few words here and there, haha.
I think this is a real solid start at hip hop. I always think its interesting to try a different genre because its nearly always fresh. and this is. very good.
Hunta
!wow! i love this track! that bassline rocks. u are getting better all the time. the only thing i would say is when ya bassdrum with the reverb hits it is over the top of an underlying kick thus it doubles in volume, i am being very picky tho. u have amazing skill.
Hunta
I also enjoyed it. I have massive respect for any one who can use reason because i took one look at it and didn't have a clue! better stick with fl studio. I loved the meldoy u bring in it has a real easy going feel to it. nice.
Hunta
Thanks mate! Really appreciate it...it is a difficult DAW to start on and especially when it comes to writing patterns...they don't have numbers or actual clear boxes in the piano roll unlike FL! Glad you liked it man thanks for stopping by!
I really like this mate. that melody at the break is awesome so dreamy. at the kick it goes sort of progressive which i like a lot. great use of the vocals aswell. nice one
Hunta
Thanks for the review man. I did like making this track. Its one of my goodins! Im gonna stay at this genre for a while. I have 2 more tracks in progress, all the same kinda genre. Hoping to complete soon but you know the crack, When you think its done you always find something.. LOL. Thanks again dude. Respect.
its hard to say really. in acid i am not sure because its loop based. maybe add an extra meldoy that sits pretty with the other (the same notes and feel but in a different rythum) reverse a section cut it up? what ever floats your boat. thats the good thing about music tho, its totally down to u! nobody can say "this is how its done" just play around until u are happy with what u have made, try and learn something new every time u make a track and most important. enjoy yourself.
i like the melody and the drums, but perhaps a little variation would have made it better. if you could progress the meldoy it would sound sweet. good effort
hunta
thank you for the review...up to now im still learning all the functions of sony acid 6....maybe next time i can come up with a better track...i know this will sound awkward but can you give me some basic pointers on how to improve my melody?
Your right they are insanely good, but u have also used them to maximum effect with the mix, which is superb. It sounds like a song i have heard before tho? maybe 4 strings or something?
as for the sound quality, i think just turning up the volume a little would make the world of difference.
Hunta
Tight as a drum! I love the big room atmosphere on this one. The filtering is immense just before the kickoff. great work all round. could defo hear this pumping in a club. Never been to the arches but I know for a fact this would go down a storm.
Hunta
cool track. when it started off it reminded me of surburban train by tiesto which is a great start in my opinion. loved those synths. it must have took ages working between those different progs! nice one
Hunta
Glad you liked it, always a pleasure to take positive feedback especially from some1 skilled as you.
Thanks from saving me from the trouble of re-reviewing your track In my case when i think i can't improve i just have some fun or create something, listen some music and say i could do smth like that too so give it a try or collaborate and exchance knowledge with someone else. But in your case i don't know, i can't see any room for improvement it's already way better than most commercial tracks i hear at least you have something to tell and can do it via your tracks. 2nd novel today :D
I absolutly love it. that bass is wkd and the melody is tingley(if thats a word!). Dj Aerith's vocals fit superb. The only thing i didn't like was the crowd noise but thats just me. nice one.
Hunta
This is ready to be out there. I really enjoyed it./ cool summer vibe. I haven't heard your home mastered mix but this is immaculate. lovely bass tones
Hunta
great use of the vocals. where have i heard them before? I really like the way it all flows. I liked the meldoy that you brought in, it fit superbly.
Hunta
I really liked the percs and the vocals work really well. Its the type of track that would be a dream to mix. I would use this as a starter track. It would sound mint with a a funky bass mixed into it.
