I like the track and I like how you've mastered the piece. Hate when the bass drum or the bass are three miles ahead of the rest of the instruments.

Very Well DOne

on Anak Pisang - Shadow Dancing by n0mad23
This is great. This is the second track in a row I've listened to that was a live performance.

Love live performances.

Thanks for uploading this piece. Its wonderfully different.

Hi John,

I was in the Acoustic-Trance Music band Spirit House until my spouse, daughter, and I moved 80 miles north of Seattle, and then 2x a year I'd go down to jam with the band under the project name Anak Pisang. Almost everything we recorded was pure improvisation, and "Shadow Dancing" began with me demonstrating my new approach with two drums while sitting crosslegged. I learned so much with playing music with these chaps, and still find the recordings worth listening to. Glad you enjoyed this one! Cheers, Sean.

Great little track, my friend, are you thinking about increasing the duration?

John

Not anymore, its no longer really up to standard. I can do so much better now, and I think I'd be wasting my time if I did.

I've sort of been working on a hitlist, trying to figure out which songs to eliminate from my profile (so that I have more space to upload and so that I don't have to make an on the spot decision when I hit 50)

I'll post in the forums about which ones I'm probably going to remove.

Ste :)

on ReaLizM - Capacity Mix - Instrumental by CozmicCapacity
The levels need a bit of adjusting. The snare is way up front and much of the rest is hiding in the background.

Other than that it sounds pretty good.

Thanks for your review John. Yeah, I realized the levels were off on this one. I left it alone for now because I plan to rap over it later. Thus, really the track is incomplete. I don't rap that often but I designed this one for myself.
