Hey I wrote some lyrics and melody for this. Pretty cool. I recorded now on my little tape recorder to preserve the idea. Have a gig tonite then leaving outta town but will hit u up when I'm back with it.
This is great. I love the song itself you created. Also you really did my vocals justice. (Another reminder that I kinda suck at mixing. :D) Anyways, I also adore the composition. And ya know, I don't remember hearing any clicks.
I'm so...SO pleased you like this. You have such a beautiful voice and it's such a beautiful song that it made me pretty nervous to even try a backing track. Your kind words have certainly made it worthwhile...I'm a happy boy now :-D
Very nice production... incuding composition and mix. Interesting and creative. And final production has a very nice thin glaze-over effect. Did u use a filter for that?
I like the clarity of each note defined so nicely. Yes a mix of hip-hop with your own stilo thrown in the mix. Is that an 808 backbeat or a 909 you used? Or did you create one using another machine or program?

They are actually Fruity Loops' basic hip hop samples i just used them since i was lazy and didn't have hip hop samples.FL has "drumsynth" which has these 808/909 sounds and i really like em easy to change and create different stuff with..
