Yeah man. I dig this. That was an interesting, (but pleasant) twist at 2:50. I really liked the massive reverb and the delay in it. It's somewhere between a dream, a memory, and a trip through the clouds without ever leaving your body. Thanks for pointing it out to me.
This is alright, man. There's something to be said about vocoded vocals, isn't there? I mean, ya wanna talk about a sure fire way to get that spacey sound. That's how ya do it, dude. You put this together nicely. You told us what it was, and you delivered. Noice.
What an interesting way to do things. I can't say that I've ever heard rap vocals with full panning. I kinda like it. It really helps lend to the idea of the alter egos and duality you talked about in the description. Like, the two identities are present. One on one side, One on the other. Cool Idea, man. Run with it.
thanks Bicky, i try different fx's all the time, this is a great place for feedback on how it sounds and if it works or not, there is a number of vocal layers the main is central but all the others are panned either side and also you clicked on to the two identities which is me, this track and the next few are all part of a story i've tried to build to show that dimestop is not Paul, all artist have an alter-ego, i just brought mine to life, now the bugger wants to take over lol, thanks for your comment bro it is appreciated, its good feedback
I don't know what the original release sounded like, but I can definitely say, the business has been put! It goes without saying that the guitar is great in this, but that E Piano, man....that's some sweet icing on this cake! I love the arrangement, too. A good showcase for plenty of instruments.
Very well done, my friend.
This is a great track! It has a real mid to late 70s vibe to it. This could easily fit between Steely Dan, Joe Cocker, and Three Dog Night on a good 70s playlist.
Great energy, and a great sound. Good job! I dig it, man!
It's funny, I didn't listen to pop music in the 70s (although I'm old enough), instead I grew up with classical music. When Idid start listening and discovered Steely Dan (because I was a fan of the band Deacon Blue and read in the "Pop Encyclopedia" they were named after a song), I immediately felt a pang of recognition - hey, that's the kind of music I'd love to make. (Obviously I don't have their skills, talent or studio time. Or backing singers and guitarists. Man.)
Three Dog Night I had to look up but yes, I totally get what you mean :D
Thanks for listening mate!
