For a first song I would say you're more than well on your way. I couldn't get my head around Fruity loops enough to use it properly... thank god I figured that out before i bought it lol. I love this... I absolutely love it when people put some serious thought into what they sing about. It always makes the song mean more to me if it carries a message. Awesome track man... the vocal effects were wicked too.
I think if you sound this good with collapsed lungs you're a step ahead of a lot of vocalists who get played in HIGH rotation. I love your voice, it has a warm earthy feel.
