Beautiful playing and tones - it's probably just my mad and eclectic listening experience over the years but I found myself thinking of both Peter Green and Chet Atkins - go figure. Please do keep em coming : )
Hello Nonube, appreciate your comments and listening to this.....I'm nowhere near those giants of music but I'm glad it resonates in some way to music with a feel and purpose. Sometimes that feel in improvising gives you exactly what you're aiming for.....this one did that for me. Again thank you for checking it out.
Wom - Great track BB - and those vocal takes were worthwhile because this is a top class vocal performance and then let me say that Im not even sure if that is the cherry on the cake because the song as whole is fantastic - drums, guitars, keys, lyrics, production - everything is just so fine and so nicely balanced.
Huge congratulations on such a beautiful track.
wonderful- nice mix of styles and to my ears a kind udpated 80's style production sound - get out the shoulder pads VT Nights and KayOS are coming through your speakers
Great cover Micky - cant believe there are not more cover versions of this tune. This one has a very impressive vocal performance and an amazing mix - actually I love everything about it : )
wow - great depth and wondrous layers of (exotic)sound, beautiful staging and amazing production and great melodies and structure - so professional!
What a treat - 5 minutes never went by so quickly : )
Damn - this is so cool - the guitars sounds are fantastic and it is so meticulously and brilliantly constructed and well produced - real trip on my headphones - not only is nothing out of place but everything is in just the right place. Metal is not a genre Ive listened to much is the more recent years but you are reminding me how good it can be. I cant imagine how long this took but however long it was worth it : )
Nonube, thank you for taking the time to listen and comment.
I don't think metal is something I'm capable of not listening to for any extended time. I've been a metalhead since the cold war. The adults back then always said "It's just a phase. He'll grow out of it.". Nope. Never did.
As far as how long it took, a total working time of 19 hours and some change. I think at least a good third of that time was just getting the mix balanced.
Anyhow, thanks again. I appreciate it.
Take care.

this rocks - the production quality is brilliant and the sisters sound especially amazing but Dimestop that one damn fine vocal performance too and the whole track is snappy.
how are you bro, thanks so much for the listen and comment, it was a little different from me but i had so much fun on this the girls are just amazing as always and yeah i surprised myself tbf this time, i thought my vocal was ok too, thanks for the time, i see you got fresh up, ill be checking in later when im on my laptop
sounds wonderful, great production and staging and its quirky but also kind of timeless and perhaps the best thing is that it is such fun to listen too : ) Bring on the Kay-os !
some interesting sounds and well produced and for sure a good starting point for something more - or for use in a soundtrack - worth playing some more with : )
The opening guitar riff pulls us gently into the song with waves of reverb and there is a electro buzz like a cross between a didge and a mouth harp setting up some cross rhythm. And then a very sweet vocal, and such complementary melodic and warm arps, builds with some seriously fine hooks. Electro pop bliss happening here. Very nice structure too - a real hit.
Some nice electro pop with layers of interweaving melodic arpeggios and some earworm like riffs to sweeten the listening experience - was not sure about the transition into the break but I do like the speed up that comes soon after - maybe a little long but I guess if you were on the dance floor it is just right
well the music is fantastic and the rap too and its unusual in term of sound production - an 'outside the club' kinda sound on the music and sounds like a lot of compression on the vocal (I think) - gives a grit your teeth feeling like something is been held back or maybe you gunna kill us with a remix
bro i had an issue with the compression, still have, i just gave up in the end. ive altered all sorts to try to get it crisp but im missing something, these are presets that i always use so might have another play but ive got two big pieces im working on that are more important to me, and funny you should say that, i remixed a popular artists track my first week i joined, it done excellent, yet ive never remixed one of my own, i try fix mistakes but never bring them again i just bring new projects, thanks for your comment your listen is appreciated
Very relaxing, the only thing Im wondering is if the volume built slowly to the middle break and faded slowly after the middle break it would be even 'smoother'. You can imagine how that might look less lumpy on the waveform (not of course that it sticks out unpleasantly now). Given the quality of the production I suspect that you have already considered what Im wondering about and like it more like this : )
thanks for your time mate, im a good guy really, just flamboyant, not the first time 'the specials' has been said about me, i consider it a compliment, welcome to our community and great to see you joining in straight away, its something i try to push, i'll also return the listen too, see what you got :))
very enjoyable - the timpani is a great touch and I can hear the pipe too and an electro vox blended in is yes, slightly reminiscent of daft punk - also has a somewhat didgeridoo type rhythm happening - very engaging bridge between old and new instruments
