bumping this ish. pretty different but turned out pretty epic. dont really understand why you said that about the east and west coast but whatever. well i dig the oy oy oy oy. it sounds awesome. is that someone saying that or a synth? cant really tell but it sounds great!

thanks for your review man. I tried to explain the east coast, west coast thing in the decription, cos i know its a bit wierd. The oy oy bassline is a synth, took a while to programme but i think it sounds pretty good. thanks again.

lol saw you on the most amazing tracks on looperman forums with this song so i thought that i should check it out. nice work on this one. wow the atmosphere that builds is amazing! the work you put into this one sprays out of my speakers like a brilliant painting! this is awesome. it seems to tell a story too. whered you get that rain loop? would love to remix that!

The rain is a public domain field recording I was lucky enough to find in my sample quests. There were several really cool things that came together in this one - the whole storm motif was obvious in the "ethnic" drums and the bonobo/me thing came out of both sounds of loops and effects. The idea of standing defiantly and challenging the lightening storm (something sometimes seen with Chimps) was the story I was trying to tell. Defiance of things bigger than us. Glad you enjoyed this one. Thanks for the review.

now i've got to say i havent checked out your tracks in awhile and you used to just keep it rockk and roll, but since you started adding in the electronic sounds with your guitar you have become much more epic. i love all of your tunes, just love this style.
