This track reminds me of something that would have been on the little big planet soundtrack! I love that soundtrack and love this song for reminding me of it. Great work here and thanks for sharing!
I liked this one a lot. The vibes remind me of some of the tracks played on UKF Drum N Bass channel. I think you pieced this one together really well. Nice work and keep them coming!
This is an enjoyable track here. I see you implanted a lot of jazz elements into this track. It's definitely an interesting listen and makes my mind wonder off. It would be interesting to know what your original intentions for this track was.
Regardless of that, I have to say I really enjoyed this one and will be on the look out for more like this from you!
so basically my very intention was only to make a new track. My previous looperman one was kind of electro-styled (with JoeCramer's vocals) so I decided to go even further with the exploration of my new hardware synth this time. This track was made entirely (except drums) using only one sound source (Roland Juno Di) but I started with very simple drumming and tried many different synth presets. The basic idea was: 120 bpm and the key of F (no chord changes). It was recorded from the keyboard in a real time but of course with a lot of placing/replacing of all recorded single elements inside the composition afterwards (but the main synth lead was played in a real time without any placing/replacing manipulations). At some point I replaced simple drums by some excellent EZdrummer jazz performances (which is probably the only 'jazz' element here).
So this is the process. There's no need to quantize notes anymore (I did that a lot when using plugins for piano or electric piano). There's no even MIDI in there (me happy yay! haha)
thanks a lot for listening and nice comments,
best, alex
This was very enjoyable. It actually has a lot of sounds that is used in pop. I haven't heard the original, but I'll be sure to give it a listen. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks...I was trying to my Guitars dance with the track, messing
around really...
And it turned into this, did spend some time with it once it started
to sound like something... :)
This is a great track! Capturing emotion is the key to hip hop and you sir, do a fine job of that! Are you going to get someone to place their vocals on this? I think the right vocals will make this track spark even more. Regardless great effort and keep going!
I've heard a few other tracks with this same acapella in it. I think I'll put yours up there in the top five of the ones I heard. You did a great job in making the vocals fit perfectly with the beat you've made. Not many can do that, so I give you props there. In all I enjoyed this track, nice work here!
Sorry i'm a bit late with the reply.
Whenever i'm using other peoples vocals I always try my best to carry on whatever mood I feel like they're trying to deliver and I feel this went pretty well.
But anyway thanks for listening and i'm glad you liked it.
peace.
Lol, I think my eyes just played a huge trick on me. I could of sworn the date said "May" . Regardless of that, 167 downloads in 2 months is still impressive. Keep up the reat work!
167 downloads in 6 days speaks for itself. There is no surprise with that one. This track gives off a very atmospheric vibe and just sends my mind wondering. It sort of puts you in a trance like state. That alone makes this track very powerful. Was that your original intentions, while making this song or did it just fall into place.
I started to click that you better pay attention about the month but you passed me...:-)
There wasn't a big conceptbehind this track...I found that opening lounge, dreamy synth and the others just came...I was lucky to find those awesome drum loops and the groovy told the story too...
Thank you for the great words, if you don't mind I don't answer to your another comment...:-)
I think this track is nice. However the drums in the very beginning sounds a bit off beat to me. This track is a bit different from the things I normally listen to, so it was a interesting for me. Work on timing the track a bit better and you'll be good to go. Nice work.
Thanks for the feedback, critique, and encouragement. You are probably right regarding the timing being slightly off. Maybe not enough to completely ruin the track, but enough to perhaps hinder it nonetheless. It is something I have put into my notes to be more aware of when constructing other tracks (which hopefully will be soon when time permits).
This is definitely dubstep. I really like this and the orchestral sounds you added in sounds really nice. Great work here and your music matches the "Dark" part of your name.
This song is awesome! My only problem with it, is it should be longer. The vocals really makes this song great! Keep up the great work and hope to hear more like this in the future from you! Thanks for the listen!
This is a great start to a song. You should finish working on it. Your vocals are really nice and has the sounds that most label companies look for. Keep up the good work!
This track is pretty sweet! It also sounds very mainstream which is always a good thing as it puts you in the same league with the big boys like skrillex.
This is a sweet track here, Evisma! I like the guitar you used as well as the drums a lot. I don't really listen to rock that much but I definitely can appreciate the genre more when I hear songs like this!
I know I already commented on the video to this song, but I had to leave my comment on the song as well. This track is absolutely amazing. The quality of this track is great. The way you performed this (vocally wise), is just terrific. I also love that acoustic guitar and the vibe it gave the entire track.
This track almost makes me want to shed a tear while listening to it and that is definitely saying something, as I'm not the type to cry very easily. Outstanding work my friend and continue doing what you do!
Dude.. this is AWESOME! I don't know how I missed this one. I am however interested on why you chose to put this one under "Weird" for the genre. This sounds like a mix between hip hop and trap to me. It probably would fit best under one of those titles.
Regardless, this track is great and your getting a fav and download from me. I think we should work together sometime in the future. We probably could make a great song together.
This is a great track! I love the happy vibe you've manage to create. The melody has an electric-pop vibe to it and makes me happy. Overall very nice work and hope to hear more from you in the near future.
This is a great track here man! I love the relaxing chill vibe you made. The vocal sample you used as well as the other extra sounds you added, makes this song even more relaxing and just an all out incredible listen. I'm definitely downloading and faving this one. Think I'll add this to the Ipod as well. Thanks for sharing my friend!
I wouldn't know what to do if I never got the chance to read feedback from fellow looperman such as yourself. This def. made my day. Thank you for everything. Much Love - EazyBeatz :)
I really like this. It's magical sounding. I think the structure is really done well. The sounds all work great together and the sounds you used are very nice! Great work and hope to hear more in the future.
This is a wonderful track. I really like your sound choices. All of the sounds you used sound great together. The organization of this track is flawless. Great work man. Adding this to the fav list and downloading! Thanks for sharing!
