Nice work. I don't think this is drum n bass though. This sounds more like dancehall. I think you should record the vocals on a better mic, as the vocals quality isn't the best at the moment. The beat you created on the other hand is really nice. I think if you boost the quality of the vocals, this track will be really nice!
I think it's a good start. However I do believe you should make the snare louder, as I can't really hear it at all actually. When it comes to drum n bass, there's a few things the song needs. It needs a loud and catchy drum roll, a loud and catchy bass as well as some catchy synths and pads to escort that bass. I think you should start by working on adding a better bass, a louder snare, and a few synths here and there. Nice efforts and with a little work this can be a really good song!
I like this. The chords you used are very popular in house songs, but you made it work. I think there needs to be a bit more dynamic range, as the track doesn't really change when it comes to loudness. You should also add in some synths or something to make the beat spark more, as it just sort of loops. All of that is just my opinion, so don't take it to seriously.
I think this track sounds very mainstream. The vocals are great and the beat is constructed very nicely. You two make a great collaboration and that's always a great thing. I hope to hear more from you two.
This is a coll piece of dance you created here. The bass is nice. The synths are nicely used as well. The small vocal samples you used gives this track a comical vibe as well as making it a smoother listen.
What a great track! I liked it from the very start to the very finish. I see you're looking for vocals on this one. I honestly think this track is great without vocals and personally think vocals would mess this track up. Very nice work here sir.
Thanks Modnex. It was a pretty flighty piece to work on since the main piece was one long loop. I was able to splice it here and there and add some nice things to it and it turned out really nice. Mom named it for me.
This is an awesome remix. The original was really emotional, this remix does a great job at making it more upbeat. The only problem for me is the length, I think this song should be longer. You should think about adding more. Regardless nice work here sir!
This is pretty nice! The only thing I think should have been different is the intro. The intro started out too boring with just those hihats. You should think about using pads to start it off, like most drum n bass do. Other than that, I really enjoyed this piece.
This is a really great song! Those vocals are awesome and with the beat you structured around it, makes it a whole lot better! Who is the vocalist on this song? Regardless, great work all the way through. I really enjoyed this one!
I absolutely love the vibe of this one. It reminds me of those 1900 themed movies. I believe your small description fits well with this track. The sounds you came up with creates a very emotional vibe throughout the base of the track. With the right film to accompany it, this song could become a masterpiece no one will ever forget. Even though it does that quite well on it's own.
This is a nice track here! The overall atmosphere of this track is radiant and makes me feel really happy. The drums are also nice and have a very chill sound to them. The only thing this one is missing is some vocals!
The snippet is really great! That vocal sample is something else. I think you mixed it down pretty well and can't wait to hear the full version. Nice work thus far!
This track reminds me of something that would have been on the little big planet soundtrack! I love that soundtrack and love this song for reminding me of it. Great work here and thanks for sharing!
I liked this one a lot. The vibes remind me of some of the tracks played on UKF Drum N Bass channel. I think you pieced this one together really well. Nice work and keep them coming!
This is an enjoyable track here. I see you implanted a lot of jazz elements into this track. It's definitely an interesting listen and makes my mind wonder off. It would be interesting to know what your original intentions for this track was.
Regardless of that, I have to say I really enjoyed this one and will be on the look out for more like this from you!
so basically my very intention was only to make a new track. My previous looperman one was kind of electro-styled (with JoeCramer's vocals) so I decided to go even further with the exploration of my new hardware synth this time. This track was made entirely (except drums) using only one sound source (Roland Juno Di) but I started with very simple drumming and tried many different synth presets. The basic idea was: 120 bpm and the key of F (no chord changes). It was recorded from the keyboard in a real time but of course with a lot of placing/replacing of all recorded single elements inside the composition afterwards (but the main synth lead was played in a real time without any placing/replacing manipulations). At some point I replaced simple drums by some excellent EZdrummer jazz performances (which is probably the only 'jazz' element here).
So this is the process. There's no need to quantize notes anymore (I did that a lot when using plugins for piano or electric piano). There's no even MIDI in there (me happy yay! haha)
thanks a lot for listening and nice comments,
best, alex
This was very enjoyable. It actually has a lot of sounds that is used in pop. I haven't heard the original, but I'll be sure to give it a listen. Thanks for sharing!

This is a great track! Capturing emotion is the key to hip hop and you sir, do a fine job of that! Are you going to get someone to place their vocals on this? I think the right vocals will make this track spark even more. Regardless great effort and keep going!
