Hmmm.. Nice sounds.. Let's see where this goes... I hate the snare.. Too loud.. Loud does not equal good.. Nope, I'm out.. Turn that shit down in the mix...
You've got potential.. I have a personal hatred for snare rolls but it works. This isn't for me but keep it up. Creative use with the bass towards the end.. Well done :)
Very pretty, the stab feels a little out of place for me.. Oohh.. That growl caught my ear.. It's weird, I like that.. I think I'd appreciate this more stoned, nevertheless it's original and well composed. I actually listened to the whole thing, a rarity. Well done miss :)
Thank you for listening and thank you for the feedback. RE the stab, it made for an interesting transition between the contemplative and the ethereal. I am always inclined to push the envelope with genre fusion. I haven't listened to this stoned yet, but now I want to. I am thrilled you made it through the whole thing! :)
Hey, seems like it's been a while! Happy that you enjoyed listening! Hope that you have grabbed that album, as I think it's the best yet. Appreciate you listening and leaving a comment! Take care!
How creative... It's not like every producer has come across that rasta vox and immediately put it in the recycle bin... No no no that was horrible, moving on....
Sorry to piss on your chips dude.. It's what I do.
That melody is incredibly familiar... 90's pop-hop comes to my mind.. Needs more sub bass, drums need more clarity are you using drums? That was sarcastic.. The repetition of the main melody is becoming annoying.. Switch things up.
nice experiment but take more inspiration from darker dubstep If you're going to try and infuse it with metal, something I tried to tap into before the days of korns disaster. Interesting to say the least, I hope to hear more like it. Metal needs digitalising so we need pioneers, Good luck sir.
Hmm weird, I hope this progresses well... those guitars need more of a surprise if you know what I mean.. I'm guessing you were pretty goddamn high writing this, not saying that's a bad thing.. I love getting wasted n (trying) to write a track.. Get some more low end on those guitars, I need more mud! I've grown to love it towards the end, I'm definitley coming back to this one with a bong.. Very interesting and original.
It's alright, sorry but nothing jumped out and grabbed me by the balls. All I can feel is practice, rehearsed, now while that's good, for me you need to thrash the **** out and tell the rules to hit the road
REM are legends.. never on a playlist of mine but the appreciation is there.. You've got something unique going on with your vocals.. but, just my taste, I think you should try something a little less processed... see how it works for ya... I know how it feels mixing your own voice... terrible I know.. but I'd like to hear yours
Yes, REM are pretty cool, or at least they have been in the past. I appreciate your suggestion about my vocals, and you're not the only one who has brought that up. I will be working on hiding a little less in the future. Thanks much for the review!
Thanks for listening to a bunch of my tracks! I appreciate it! Since I gor off my meds, I've been having a lot of lyrical ideas and stuff, so I just went with it. I think my best albums are heavy on the vocals. Thanks for the support!
actually alot of skrillex is 145 eejit...dont even know ya idols...no it wouldnt the synth style...wobble-housetype synth-other wobble-repeat= skrillex
i make music for me...n thats what makes me a real musician, you are the simon cowell makin music for the current trend...fuck off mate next year you'll be stuck in burgerking completely oblivious to the fact you tried makin tunes one time..
pssh please i could probably line this up with a skrillex tune n itd match every change...n have you listened to my shit? no so dont chat shit..wanna talk heavy bass? you got the right guy i got basses that'd fuck your day
Here's the thing you probably didn't know. Most of Skrillex's music is inbetween 110-140 bpm. Anything in that area would easily line up with his music.
I make Dubstep/Drumstep/Electro/House my own way. I've never met the guy, been to any of his shows, nor do I have any of his music on my laptop. You can say it sounds like it, you can line it up, you can do whatever you want. It's not Skrillex. It's called taking time and making something that sounds good.
And also I have listened to some of your tunes, nothing bad, nothing good. Keep going in the direction you're going and you may have yourself something worthless, pointless. From what I've read on your profile, I'm pretty sure you make music that you want to listen to. Congratulations, I make music that's interesting and that people enjoy.
So please, if you're angry or have anymore angry words. Just know that I enjoy your feedback. ;D
id take an eq to that piano scoopin out the lows.....snare needs less highs....'drop hit n all i can think is dudes tryna be skrillex...move...get your own style
You're the first person to actually say so out of hundreds.
There's probably a few things going on here, but before I begin, this song is completely mastered and every instrument is separately mastered as well.
You don't know music, your speakers/head phones or whatever it is you use are horrible. I'd get something new. I'm not "tryna be skrillex" and this is my style, hard synths and heavy bass. Just remember when you see another song post by me, just ignore it so I don't have to strain trying to read what you've managed to sprawl into a comment box.
*I made all of my own synths and basses using Massive and FLStudio 10. The snare I have is actually a combo of a high clap with a snare underneath.
So I'm sorry to burst your bubble of "critique", but I had to.
experiment dude im all for experimetin, i wouldnt say borin you nailed the trance feel, its just in the dubstep world too many ppl are puttin house n trance with dubstep coz its the 'in' thing coz of skrillex n its annoyin hearnin nothin but ppl tryna sound like someone else, so please excuse my judgement on you..... check out bear trap by excision n other tunes like that, i think you'd get more of an idea on dubstep basses
You are excused Metabolic! And I totally get your point, everyone should try to come up with their own style and music. I will check it out, thanks for the tip! :-)
And I will keep it, but that doesn't mean I can't experiment with other genres?
Well nevermind, I now what you mean and I'm also thinking it's boring with mainstream music. Now have a happy face and listen to some tracks you like :-)
Hmm snares man, you got too many look up dubstep drum structure, try a punchy kick instead of an 808 (if im right, not sure) its got some good ideas, parts are cool other parts hurt me.....get more structure n sub..wobbles n noises are better than most of the other crap i hear on here (so far), not bad work tho
Hey Metabolic! Thanks for the feedback and constructive criticism;) I know about Dubstep drum structure, but I like to switch it up a bit. This wasn't meant to be completely Dubstep, but Looperman doesn't give me a choice to combine multiple genres lol Wobbles were made from scratch, took me forever to learn haha This did end up quite messy though, but I've been doing this for less than a year and learning a lot as I go because of people like you! Thanks much for the advice;)
nice man... its different, i like it..few tips snare could do with punchin up try a transient shaper or layering it with random samples n with that first beatbox bass (its cool) try and bring out the sub freqs with either an eq, multiband compressor or try a vst called sanford basstightener....its sick for chunkin sounds without bass freqs...only thing missin for me is sub, but chunk up that bprrrrr!!! n you'll have a sick little track
