I told you sometimes this retro thing but this is your magical style and you are one of the best (if not the best) in this...
Epic track, yes, your best...
(Not too loud?) :-)
Danke, your words really gives me the inspiration!
This retro thing must be an inheritance from all the time spent in front of the commodore 64 in the late 80's when i was trying to create songs with only 3 channels.
Thank you for letting me know your thoughts about my style :)
Never heard this kinda 'shuffle' (I'm not sure) from you...cause you never did before...:-)
But it's fine...for 3 minutes surely...:-)
I don't say anything about your bass cause it's always the same...same heaven...
Avatar is much better than before...thank you!!!
Epic track...atmospherical and live...like the tone of every instruments...what instrus did you play? maybe all? :-) sax too? :-)
Incredible feeling I had, after listening this opus...
Your drum sound could be a model for us who like 'live' music...
You're getting better and better...where is the end? :-)
This is epic and relaxing...
And your voice...no words!!! :-)
Sure fave and big respect, Danke
Thanks glad you enjoyed the track, I am really pleased how it came out.
Not sure what you mean about there being a 'master on it', if you mean, have I mastered the track, then the answer is, yes, but very lightly. I used some multiband compression and limiting on it but as I say very lightly as I didn't want to squash the life out of it just to make it as loud as possible.
This is stunning...jazzy, atmospherical, feelgood chill out with huge play on the piano...the sax solo is outstanding as usual from the 'ferryterry group' :-)
Your mix is more than excellent, this is top production in every level...Wanted to suggest some guitars into it but after the 3rd listen, I had review my idea...there is no place for that instrument...
Magical 5.33
Hats off, respect, Danke
If the ferryterry group would set up a fan club, I'd be their first member for sure. Always great quality samples and recording. Very easy to work with and it makes my life simple.
Funny, I also played with the idea of adding guitars, but came to the same conclusion. I did however send the track to a singer friend of mine and asked for her contribution. I think the track still has room enough for vocals, or room is easilly created.
Great funky with superb acoustic guitar and piano work...for me it's a bit long but it's surely my own taste...
Mix is stunning, strange that you didn't request anybody to sing a bit in collab...:-)
Anyway, 'huge1 track...
thanks Danke! :)
nice to hear it's your taste, funky stuff is definitely also something i can always listen to hehe.
do you know four80east? if not i recommend you check out their tunes, you might like it. they give me the goosebumps in a lot of tracks, and rarely i hear a track i don't like.
i'd even go as far as saying it's the most underrated smooth jazz/lounge/funky chillout band i currently am a fan of.
i thought about singing myself at first but didn't come up with enough silly lyrics yet. but actually i wouldn't mind at all if someone else wants to have a go at it!
This is brilliant...everything you put into the song is outstanding...arps, pads, drums, etc...Farisha's voice leads the song and the music is under it so humbly...stunning...
Fantastic piece of chill...everything is perfect here...those percs, the smooth drum, the contrabass?,the piano and the guitar...melodical, atmospherical, flying track...
Generally, I don't make myself to listen a hip hop track but hell knows why, I said why not? (Cause I like your loops p.e.)
Was a stunning choice cause this number is full of professionalism...your mix, the instrus, the arrangement and the melodies...favd for sure, dig it
Feelgood one and pure professionalism...smiling and saying hmmm, that's it...Bear's loops are always at the highest level so that's a challenge to get them into the right place but this time I think he smiles too...:-)
Fantastic groovy and the whole track is rolling...:-)
Though I'm not a big trance fan, at the past I made some trance rock number...What is strange that your melodies, chord progressions and progressivity is so close to my heart...that's why I proudly tell you this is stunning :-)
What an interesting track...in my world this is far away from rock but who cares...sensational key tunes and use...the whole track is like a new wawe song from the 80th...
Incredible track with your fantastic voice...When I listened to these kinda voc filled tracks I always think of he importance of the singing...this is the most important part of music...:-)
Your progressive attempts makes you so unique...this is outstanding...I can't say I never heard this laboratory work but this kinda sound effects are so rare...specially right here...your working attitude is special, you are one of the best keys and midis producer...
A comment like this, especially when written by an artist I completely respect, is a wonderful thing to read, so thank you! The "working attitude" you mention here, I must admit, was taken with a different approach this time. Tensions were running high, and I kept busy, bouncing between more mundane daily activities and sequencing/mixing. Short sessions, each with a different approach. Seems to have worked, but I think some people are repelled by that sort of thing. To say that I'm one of the best is very kind, I couldn't admit to that until actually experiencing how other people do their thing. You've made a significant positive impact on my week. Thank you!

Here's a secret, I'm wearing a tuxedo in the picture, and I'm standing between my brother and sister, also tuxedoed. Brother's wedding.
Glad you liked the track, it has some stuff to be added but I was hoping to keep it all bass guitar.
