Actually I don't like the mainstream or the hard-hitting dubstep too.I'm more on the side of melodic chillstep.

I was too surprised to see the master of the track.I once read in some forums that VSTs improve the mixing of track and that exactly happened here.I used only VSTs to create this track.You can try that out too.It does change the outcome of the track.

Really feels great when an awesome pro like you comments and gives feedback.Really encourages me for creating music.

The Guitar and Bass samples are real pro.I was kinda addicted to those and started making some beats and pads for them and this track was the result.

I watched some tutorials and read some forums for Mastering and EQing and understood the fundamentals of mastering and kinda applied here and also improved my other tracks as-well.

Could you please suggest and feedback for my other tracks...specially for 'Feeling Close' and 'Addiction'.

really helped me to think about a form for this one. fleshed out opening a bit (still raw) and have a groove going for a second section. then will recap somehow - maybe more intense. thanks very much for feedback. big appreciation. Dan

Thank you Danke for your comment. I appreciate your honesty and i agree with your opinion: there 's a lot of wrongs with this song: the battery 's always the same, no bass at all and it could be shorter i think.
I had a lot of fun doing this "song" and i've really hesitate sharing the result. I'm glad i did it.

This retro thing must be an inheritance from all the time spent in front of the commodore 64 in the late 80's when i was trying to create songs with only 3 channels.
