Made a winner with song Richie...your arrengement and tasty attitude to this acapella is like a model...
Crystal clear mix, stunning instrumentation...
(But that autotune...hmmm...Why do this kind of brilliant voice need to use it?)
Much respect, Danke
Did you hear Enzotic's version with this popular acapella?
Thank you for taking the time to stop by. I just love your "tasty attitude" comment so thank you for that. I try to be as tasteful and understated as I possibly can and hope whatever I do makes the vocal into a song. Glad you liked the instrumentation and mix too. Very rewarding to have you pick up on that.
Was that you on the vocs? Simply brilliant...That voice is so dreamy but powerful too...There are too many loops, samples in the track but the singing is the leader...The melodies, the lines you sing are really stunning...Thankx for being part in this top production...
Thanks so much for your kind words! I hope to work with you again, that loop was brilliant and I am noticing a lot of yours are! Let's do some more songs! Cheers!
I didn't know that rock/metal is a fav style right there in Syria...good news...and if I listen to your track, I can hear lots of melodies and an awesome female voice...the instrumentation is stunning too, bass is wow as 18 signed it...bravo, bravo...was that live played?
1 side note (if I can): guitars are a bit sterilized in tone...there are lots of amp collections on the net, for example Amplitube, gave you nearly live feeling...
But that's only my visions...:-)
Thanks bro
You gavdon't answern amazing words
- yes in Syria rock and metal is a fav. Unfortunately we don't have good metal band localy but I wish some day we will.
- all music in the track edited on fl studio by keyboard but I tried to give each instrument the soul of a real one
- unfortunately i don't have a good electric guitar vst
I just used Slayer vst. And it didn't make realastic guitar
but I will try to re edit again with less amps
finally ofcourse you can give any notes any time
it help me to improve my music
Welcome back...this is a hot, cool track with your well-known progressivity...the tension is incredible...you know, I'm not the biggest edm/trance fan (though I made several trance loops), but I really enjoyed your trip...
Im lucky if i can get in once a month now at times,i got so much work being done on my home, all new heating, elecrical work,so very long days, very little leisure time.!
We all know(I hope) that one of the most difficult thing to make music around the pella.
What I really liked in this song, is your tasteful arrengement...I hear harp, bum-bum retro snare :-) and little things what makes interesting this song without guitar,too...
But I wait that that instrument very much :-)
Congrats and respect for this number and just one more sentence for the sideline: this IS retro too, cause you are this song...:-)
Always a pleasure to receive your comments and read your kind words. you're right...it is a bit tricky to arrange the music around the vocals, but the challenge is quite enjoyable and a good learning experience.
Yes, I love the harp, so use it when I can get away with it. I also included one of my favorite vintage instruments, the mellotron, in it, so maybe it is retro after all!
You work really well with the tones...I like your style mixing and it's always 66...
That drum gives rock feeling for the song but overall who could say it's a rock number?...:-)
Love it!!!
Respect, Danke
Really nice melodies from you again...
It depends what would you like to hear...it could be a balladistic or groovy rock song, chill out or in my darkest dreams trance too...all stands on the instrumentation...
Unique track right here...
I've never heard same like this at these pages...
Very atmospherical tone with those (autotuned :-) but heavenly voices...
Brilliant effort!!!
Much respect, Danke
For me you are an artist who never fail...
This is tasty, moody, atmospherical, groovy...
How you change the parts is incredible...this song gave me many kind of visions...that's the essence of making music, I think...:-)
You gotta special atmosphere here...dreamy and super positive...like every movement...from the guitar through the piano to the percs...
Brilliant momentary state...:-)
Thanks for listening Danke - this was an exercise trying to fit lyrics and additional sounds to transform the tone with a bit of irony which I hope comes through - basically 'The Doors' meets 'Franz Ferdinand'.
Regards,
clindsay
Hope it won't hurt you but there are heavy slidings over here...the guitars sometimes are out of the programmed drums rhythm...
If you will fix it, it won't be a bad number but in this form there is not much chance to find a vocalist who will make a try on this...
Respect, Danke
Very good work on the vocs...
I don't have a chance to listen it at high quality but I hear is a very much groovy based number with your? stunning voice...
Only thing is that dubstepish snare tone...:-(
I've heard nearly the same like this in feeling...
Again those Quimby songs...you remember Orlando...
Now, I checked some of their tunes, they write many songs in E minor or around those chords...it's got (I mean E minor chord) some travelling attitude...:-)
Brilliant song...
Sad but beautiful and happy but hopeless as our life around the Balcanic area...
Thankx for this masterpiece buddy, the team's best as I feel and think...
Yeah, Danke....ofcourse I remember Quimby, you sent me link once...great band, and I must say I really hear similar feeling in their music compared to this song...
I'm very grateful and happy for your positive thoughts on this one. I don't know if it's team's best but I can say that on collaboration level it was the best experience so far.:)
Thank you Danke. I really love how this came out. It was enjoyable for me. I recommend checking out the original one Pentatonix made, then listen to mine again. I attempted to make it nearly identical to each other.
Thank you for your comment Danke :)
The guitar bass is a sample that i've choped and transposed. Everything else is played on the midi keyboard.
I agree, the mix sounds great:)
I'm trying to keep the song minimalistic. Less is more in this kind of tracks but... sure, it needs to be completed. I think i'm going to try to add some vocals and may be some fx more like rain or sea shore and work in the mix.
Thanks for commenting Danke, all advices are wellcome.
It's an impressive chillstep...
I hear 2 or 3 pops at the beginning, maybe on the border of the bars...you could fix them...
Very unique female voice...is it a sample or you made it by synth?
I liked alot this track, though a bit long for my taste...
