Phylogeny, eh. Fascinating subject. Love the drum loop. Are you going to add a version with lyrics? That would be epic! Kay0s

on Ryder - DEPEND Prod By FlairSoundz by FlairSoundz
The tough rapping vocal really works over the beat. There was a softer more female voice more towards the end, (well I thought I heard that), I would bump that up slightly in volume, to add more contrast to the grit. Enhances the urban unrest vibe. Good track. Kay0s

on Didn t Like It feat James Pyke by NeinNiemals
Incredibly well produced - I love the meandering vocal/rap and the little pauses and twists and turns. Has Progidy vibes, esp Firestarter. Massively suitable for a dance track - I could Imagine Jessie Pinkman playing this at one of his House parties on Breaking Bad! Kay0s

on Talk to me Joni by Nonube
I love the unconventional mix of instrumentation on this track - that vocal has such an interesting quality - slightly Alanis Morrisette-ish and it soars and dips, chaining the whole track together. There's a Spanish feel, adding extra interest. You listen once and you want to listen again. Exceptional. You should be v proud! Kay0s

You two always bring a smile to my face. Beautiful harmony and you still got a bit of a country twist goin on! I had imaginings of you two going on The Voice and Will I Am turning his chair :)

Richard always tells me, Lets do a Country song, but it always ends up not quite in that lane, so for you to say that it has a country twist is a great accomplishment for me. When I first heard Richards voice I was blown away and thought, oh man this is the perfect Reggae sound. I was so stoked he wanted to work with me. Cool imagery of The Voice, I hope He turns haha!!

Wow great guitar synergy. I love the fuzzed up bits. reminiscent of vintage Blondie hits, ('Shayla', for example). Brilliant. Kay0s

Hey there - thanks for checking this one out and the warm feedback - this was another experiment but I thought it had some nice elements - I always like blondie but cant remember that track - have to check it out - cant remember them ever been this noisey!

I Love the vocal and the beat. Maybe a primal scream somewhere near the end would rock it out a bit more but the voice is great on here. Kay0s

Hello John. I see this as an interesting backdrop composition to support another form of instrumentation and an incidental vocal, to weave it together as a more holistic track. Maybe a conventional electric guitar or weaving saxophone and a few blurred ahhs from a sorprano to pull in a rhythm. I enjoyed listening but personally I would add to it. Kay0s

Great advice, thank you for your vision and I think I will work on this more and change it up a bit. Maybe some dynamics and some vocals.

on Dreams by Loveis777
I felt musical vibes of Abba and The Mobiles in here. Catchy. Would be an absolute banger with 2 contrasting female vocals doing a repeat phrase. It's a good production as it is but to take it the exceptional level, bring in the vocal. I enjoyed the listen. Kay0s

That soaring, operatic female vocal really offsets the male grit beautifully - adds a layer of pulp fiction type irony - like she's in her own little world, blissfully unaware of what may be lurking. Amazing beat and rhythm. I have never heard anything like this - this is really something! Kay0s

on I Call Upon Your Name by RichardShekari
You 2 vocalists harmonise so beautifully. I was reminded of the drum beats in devotional chants in songs such as "Jai Hanuman"by Tim Chalice and Chloe Goodchild. Your grattitude and inspiration shine through very brightly. Perfect guitar music. You sure hit those hight notes - wow! I feel there is maybe a blur between gospel, acapella and soul. Whatever its genre, it is very beautiful. Authentic feelings always shine through on your tracks - BTW, do you record most days? Blessings Kay0s

Thank you so much for your thoughtful words, VN! We really appreciate it. John is fantastic on the guitar, and Im glad our harmonies resonated with you. I always enjoy experimenting with harmonies and going with what feels right. Its fascinating how different genres can blend together, and I love that you noticed that connection. We try to record as often as we can! Your support truly means the world to us.

on Bad reputation by Danke
Danke Oh Mein Gott - This is so darned cool. Your voice gets stronger every time you do a vocal. I love the extra instrumentation that kicks in around 18 seconds after the start of the track. A fabulous contemporary pop opening that would easily equal the likes of something by Shawn Mendes. I also heard echoes of The Cure in there. The bit where you rock out was on fire - Nirvana would've bowed to you! Love this track Kay0s

on Two Xpensive - Ryder x Steve Lewis by SteveLewis
Your vocal captures the intensity of the futility of the situation, your voice is a perfect fit. Raw but pleasant. When the female vocal came in to join the song, that was a wow moment - she has a beautiful voice that contrasts the raw with the sweet perfectly. Love the beat. Brilliant. Kay0s

Saturday night at Ronnie Scott's club. A reminiscent feeling of the 60s, beehives and Embassy Number 6. Very well composed and enjoyable. Plenty going on without it being chaotic. Nice one. Kay0s

Hey Oli. Thanks for stopping by for the listen. Ronnie Scott's? I've never been, but the recordings I've heard are over the top. The closest near me on Ronnie's level is a jazz club on the near north side of Chicago called the Jazz Bulls. The basement cave like acoustics there IS FIRE! I'm happy you enjoyed the listen. Peace.

Good evening - I would say Pop meets Country. I love and appreciate the message and the joy of JC's return was conveyed in such a beautiful, loving message. I imagined this being performed on a stage with all involved and everyone was line dancing, (forgive me for that but I actually think that would work)! Your vocal, as ever, is divine and such a wonderful timbre. Well done Kay0s

It would be ace to have an Olivia Newton John type voice on this. Beautiful country twang with guitar at.1.17 and going through track. The beginning reminded me of Eric Clapton's 'Lola'. A decent production. Kay0s

Hendrix meets Muse. The marriage of the soaring guitars over the synth is set to last. Only thing missing is lyrics to add a touch of urgency. Kay0s

Much appreciate the listen and comment. I do like the combination of synth and guitar but I don't it that often. This synth loop was made several years ago when I was experimenting more with electronic music. I just ran across it while rummaging through some bass files and it grabbed me.
