I can not tell the hours, but I started the project on the 19th for the drum base, trying to get near to a drum from Cosmic Gate and took +/- half a hour, on the 20th I started to play with 1 of the mentioned samples and added some vox I didn't use in the end, that day I ended up with 260 of the lib samples about 1 hour, the 21st I continued and was able to send a preview to my reviewer, my nephew, took about 3 hours, 22nd I extended the track from 9 to 12 minutes, used all 350 samples and started to collect the snippets from other tracks all in an evening hour, the 23rd 3 sessions in morning, afternoon and evening total about 7 hours working on the snippets and mix, 24th nothing as I broke my finger just before noon and returned from hospital short before midnight ;), 25th just a quick look at the snippets and mix, 26nd an hour work on the snippets and mix before upload. Most likely I missed an hour here and there as I collected this info based on the backups :) so best guess +/- 20 hours.
The import of a collection of 100 samples into a track (samples stuck front to back) in REAPER: 10 seconds ;) And as usual, only mixing, no mastering.

Wow, 'navy blues' and 'grass roots' is such a killer way to describe it! Thanks a lot, Kayos. I really wanted that guitar to feel raw, organic, and full of that heavy, old-school tension, so knowing that the suspense hit the mark means everything to me.

Hello Kay! Yeah, that's a good description of this one. Although I think if I changed the hihats and took out the off snare/snare rolls and put some fills in their place, it'd be a lot closer to pop, especially what I've heard on the contemporary radio stations. Id blur every genre line if I could, but alas. Im going to keep doing different things and experimenting but 'Ur Boi Pnnywze' will always add his own spin to it. Speaking of that, I have the beginnings of an idea I was going to pitch you and Oli, I'll shoot u an email about that. As always, thank you for your support, your energy, and your friendship.
