Wow. Lovin' this one too. I like seeing all the new creative ways people have come up with to put new life in to this track. I wrote this in 1990! recorded it a few times til like '94. it's a great beat. good work!

excellent. I don't know the genre for that either, but you can breakdance to it, haha. I'm always putting together stuff like that for myself to listen too, but not really release. it's great to hear someone perfect that minimal style. I really liked the Vocal samples and the layers!

I wish my first beats sounded that clean. haha, good stuff, and your right about 'the boondocks' everyone says my beats are stuck in the 80's, but the truth is I fell in love with hip hop for a reason and I'm still a die-hard Old School head, liked the scratches too

try putting some more time and love into your tracks I noticed a few of them mention made quickly or in an hour etc. wouldn't you rather have one really amazing excellent track or 9 quickly made Ok tracks? I can tell you've got it in you. time and effort is the key. thanks for posting your work.

there is no set in stone formula for 'The Perfect Song' but you've definitely followed alot of the rules. nice suspense and timing. The buildup and graduation is nice. Just when I was expecting the break and the drop it ended though. keep up the good work. somewhere after the second progression there should be a breakdown and a buildup leading to a drop and then a reprisal of the first stanza. all in all though I think you are well on your way to your goals. just keep at it.

Sounds like My first Rave parties in '92. I like the old school throw back back, but it's been done so many times. I realize that you are still young and just getting started and this site is the best place for you to be. this is a great opportunity for learning and growth! the mix was well done. I will keep listening though. you've definitely got potential, and if you are willing to put in the work, I'm sure you could do great things with your music.

It really needs to be longer, and the mix and vocals leave a lot to be desired. on the other hand it's very original and creative and I completely agree with your message, so I hope to hear more of this!

Almost a completely different song. And in a lot of ways better. for one thing I'd rather hear this version at at a party. not my favorite type of music but a study in mixing skill. nice job! now I'm gonna listen one more time, haha

I couldn't really understand the lyrics, they are a little low. reminds me of the '90's underground out in Cali., Dr. Octopus the black Elvis. good concept.

I'm really feelin this old school stutter step, and that roland sound. the keys are great too. makes me wish I had some time to throw a verse on it. had to Fav it since there is no download. when I finish all the projects I'm workin on now I'd love to give it a go though.

great flow. the synths are immense. the low clicking drum track seems like it's distracting my ear from the meat of the track. I want to hear this awesome song with a tight beat to accentuate the vocals. don't lose the orchestra hits though.

the kids I see at parties all E'd out with there whole heads stuck inside the 8 foot tall speaker boxes would love this! a bit of mixing would tie this track together. it seems a little disjointed at places. keep up the work, this site is a great place to learn and grow. thanks for the listen.
