Hi Luke! FLStudio is a great program, if you learn to use it well you can make amazing songs!
You can feel something here "www.flstudiomusic.com/" there is also a forum that can help you.
You can learn something here "http://flstudio.image-line.com/"under the support section, or on the program guide.
But for me the best way to learn to use a program is making attempts to explore the functions
experiment with, try, delete, try again, so you learn the functions of an effect or a sound generator.
The sound you are referring to is a lead that I have slightly modified, but comes from a VST plugin that I used in FLStudio "Hypersonic".
I hope you soon learn to use FLStudio and make some good tracks to put on Looperman, know that with the right plugin FLStudio becomes powerful!
to the next

Hi Luke! The effect is called "Chopped". I use basically FLStudio9.
With this program you can use the "stutter effect", but I personally use a little.
In the track that you have heard I simply cut the wave and replaced all the pieces in beat.
However, if you need something more complex you can use "Gross Beat" which is under the effects of the mixer.
I remain available to your other questions
Good work!
