That song title ,and the slightly demented bass riff are the perfect combination, hahaa :D I can imagine maybe some rude female vocal on top of that demented bass riff.
Thanks, Otherideas! I never thought about adding vocals on this, but now that you've mentioned it, I can't stop imagining it. I think it would be hilarious.
Oh yeah, this is great stuff,Tim. Actually, this could´ve been on David Bowie´s "Low" album easily. Go on Youtube and find David Bowie " Speed of life",that studio version that is on Low album. You captured that same feel in this jam of yours,Tim. Pretty awesome, young man :)
Keep on experimenting and recording whatever comes to mind.Your music is developing quite nicely :)
Hhehe,no problem,Tim :) Thanks for offering something different like Monthy Python gang would put it :D
Oh yes,Andy has the best texture on Ghost for sure. That is his best moment from that angle. All those filtered chords with those added 5th notes etc...makes for some dark soundscapes but thats why we love that album ;)
Hey,that guitar synth is a great tool for you.You can get pretty big sounds out of one guitar. Is it one of those that models other guitars or is it a real synth guitar that literally makes up new sounds?
Oh yeah,i was looking at your influences etc. How old are you, buddy? I´m 38 now. I guess you are little younger than me,perhaps?
Anyways,do lots of music, experiment and you will find your own way in music :)
i had forgotten that i'd re-used this backing track,
i must admit i only bought the guitar synth because of Andy its a great tool, i love those textures on Ghost in the machine, brimstone & Treacle, I advanced masked
You have a really good voice, bro! Feels so good to hear some proper guitar here again! Good mixing and recording with the guitars. Very nice balance overall.
Great tone on the guitar plus good finger vibrato, which is rare today.
I´d say you are good to go,dude. Happy gigging,go get em ;)
Oh yes,i understand exactly the feel you were after with this song! It´s nice to see someone still totally carried away with experimenting. That´s how many music styles like dub came to life.
Just put the drums little louder and compress them hard to get that suction in them and throw in some delays on individual snare hits etc. ;)
But i totally know where you´re coming from with this. For the feel and idea alone ,i give 10 out of 10 :)
Thanks for the kind words,
i totally agree about the mix, i started to have 2nd thoughts after i posted, may re-do it at some point
have a great weekend
Beautiful, lush soundscape in this song. The part where the drums come in and the guitar starts, that part is like flying with a glider in some canyon, looking the earth below.
Good to see that you are doing good again :) GOD bless you :)
Don´t worry young man,all of us started the music thing from somewhere :) My first experience about making music with digital stuff was Music 1 and 2 on Playstation :D
Just keep doing what you like to do with your music and you will learn what you need to know. And remember, you know how to do music like Roblobloman does it.So dont believe the whiners ,heheh.
WOW! Sir,you did it again! THAT BASS IS A BEAST! Maaan, you sure know how to pump that bass. And the main melody is fantastic!
Also i like the way the acid sound comes in after awhile, very nice :)
I smell a hit in this one for you sir,if you want my opinion. You know sir, this song could do really well in places like Spain etc? Europe would dance to this one for a year!
" Reply by romimusic ...with her vocals you don't need to do too much, just a few chords, some groovin' drums and a 'PHAT' bass.... speaking of that bass, i'll never tell what i used!! LOL "
Noooo, you better keep your secret regarding that bass ;) That way everyone will have to work harder for themselves. That will serve music the best.
Yep,you sure have your track laced with some sweeeet chords...aaah. Must be nice to play the keys that well.
I definitely hear that sweet gospel style in your playing. But that gospel style is the best way to be,to live,Amen!
Keep that music flowing ,whatever you do in life,Romi!

I like the slightly gothic mood of the song. Those weird middle eastern loops on top are very good too, they add to the mystic feel of the song.
Vocal melodies are excellent! This song just needs someone to mix it and really make all the sounds bit more clear and fatter.
But dont get me wrong, this is quality stuff! Merci beacoup!

Now the drums are much better than earlier. This has now some real Police feel to it.
You know buddy, you could easily make a "real song" with this if you put some sparse vocals or some sparse melody to this......if you want to.
But i like this anyways,no matter what :)Plywood builder 1 was a gem and this is too.
Cheers from your fellow Andy Summers fan ;)

Outstanding track sir! Simple but EFFECTIVE. Once that Rhodes starts pumping,it´s lift off. No looking back when we ride this lil tomahawk.
TIGHT production with no nonsense approach. I LIKE THIS!
Sir,you sure got a groove and half in you.
This is what i call music. GOD bless you sir and keep on making sweet music. This is definitely among the best stuff on looperman.

I like the less is more way about this song. How many tracks do we need really to convey a feel anyways :)
The bass is a beast, pheeew. Now that´s one deep and phat bass!
Nice one! GOD bless :)
