Smooooth bro, has a tribe called quest type of vibe to it. Chill and relaxing, the lyrics is on point too. They could be mixed just bit more better but still sounds great. Dope. peace
Something about this track...those killa vocals were creatively used. Beat is pretty cool too, that synth is real nice. The killa vocals could get a lil irritating after a while but I really like how you chopped them up though. Sick, peace
Thanks man, a lot of people don't realize what went into making those vocals be what they were, musical, tough, unique, I worked on them for days. I know what you mean about how they could get irritating, I certainly got sick of em after a while, but was happy with the track when it was done. If I'm being dead honest, it's one of the few tracks that turned out to be exactly what I set out to make it. Thanks for the review. I'll return the favor when I'm not so busy
I've heard alot of great cinematic tracks coming out of magix, they have really good orchestral samples or something right? Perhaps I should start creating some tracks on there, haven't used that DAW before. Anyways, pretty pro track, excellent choice of instruments and film ready. Cinematic for sure, peace
Well, Magix it's a kind of "kid toy": only take a loop and mix with another.
For a person who is pro in handling DAWs, Magix would be a joke.
I've tried with FL and it's very complicated for me. You can imagine that Cubase or Protools are harder to learn for me, too.
Or... well... maybe you don't choose the DAW, the DAW chooses you! lol
So, Magix is (as the same name says) almost magic.
It's TOO easy composing there.
Well, thanks for listening and comment!
Best wishes.
As adorable as kittens are, they are also the scourge of obnoxious noise making. (Probably more so than a baby) I never again want to hear the vowels of a kittens/cat's mouth that is going through heat. Anyways, crazy track here though man. More of your usual upbeat techno than dubstep but who am I to judge. Good stuff, peace
Okay wow, that beat is totally Clams Casino inspired. The beat is really nice but the vocals don't fit, beats like these shouldn't have vocals really. It was a solid attempt to recording on it, but damn that production is pretty dreamy and chill. Just some honest critique. Great ear for beats though man, keep working. peace
Indeed man when i hear the synth in my studios it sounds okay but when i hear it hear its a bit like u said ill don't know y but yoo thx for stopping by.
Relaxing tune you have here. Sounds perfect for the theme of a tour, your spot on with the title. Possibly Daft Punk inspired at the 1:20 mark? Grooving really nicely with all the guitars and the light drum mix. Great track Evisma, peace
I have no idea what Daft Punk sounds like. More of a Progressive Rock fan myself. Thanks for the feedback. It's changed since you last heard it, so I hope I didn't kill the vibe!
Yo so I think this beat is hot. I agree with soundhound on this one though, overall the mix needs a bit of work. Has a bit of mud and I also thought the synth didn't fit at certain parts.Dope production though, peace
I'm actually loving the sounds used in this, has a great melody. Mix has some clutter though, needs a bit of tweaking and it'll flesh out a lot better. An edit to the bass can also help with this. Still great work with the melody and synths, peace
Why thank you :) I do agree it could have been mixed better but im not of fan of mixing, so usually my "quick" songs are hardly ever mixed. But i'm glad you like the melody, I try lol.
You should made this an entire 6 min plus ambient piece. The sounds used in this has a real feeling of deepness. The beat is nice but the other sounds just have a different feeling to them. This is merely a suggestion but still great work on this man, peace
Dark vibes on this one bro. The main synth has this detroit feeling to it. For some reason it reminds me of the Malcom X diss track to d12 Royce did. RIP Proof. Dope track man, see you around. peace
Thanks homie. Much respect. I've heard some of your stuff and I gotta say you got some mixing skills man. A different style than me but awesome none the less. Keep making them tracks man. Peace.
Love the piano in this one, agree with joe too. The choir is a great addition, like how it kind of sounds retro after the 2:08 mark. The synths sounds blend effortlessly as well. Great mixture of different elements, very good billy. peace
Thanks Neo. Keep up the great work.
Hahaha i didn't make the top 10 but I made it to number 11 on your competition. Thanks for doing that, keeps everybody busy and inspired! Congrats to SJ though. - B
Very groovy synths in this one. Has great transitions and a focused sense of detail and variety. It actually sounds like a robot drinking sprite too. Good to see you around btw. We've never really interacted on here but i remember your username, I've probably used some of your loops. (Thanks for those!) Mostly in my beginning stages of producing. But great track man, peace
Who said you were bad? I think your pretty sick, digging most of your stuff so far. Finish this one up though, sounding pretty nice so far. Like the 808, tabla and the percussion too. And yo I would definitely collab with you, just gotta situate alot of real world stuff first. Not against the idea at all, great work. peace
Okay, so I'm digging the instrumentation of this one. But the mix really needs work and the vocals aren't mixed well into this one either. They almost sound as if they don't go with the track, try putting some chorus on the hook to make it stand out. Just a suggestion. Track could use some EQ too and the dubstep part at the end threw me off a bit. All in all, it was still pretty well arranged. Good job, peace
Sound well arranged, but the mix needs some tweaking. Alot of the instruments are lil too loud, the drums are one example. Don't hesitate to throw some compression on the instruments and of course EQ when you need to. I still like the instrumentation though, great work. peace
Sometimes I want to hold back from giving a fav, but tracks like these make it hard to do that. Looperman has become my radio once again, not that I like the radio anyways. Real peaceful dreamy vibes. That guitar sounds really nice. The vocal/whistle sounds blends extra well too. Sounds like I'm riding on a train in the clouds. Very chilled indeed, peace
Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed the music, that is exactly what I pictured when I created it; floating in the clouds accompanied with a feeling of nostalgia almost.
