the introduction of the sax, the acoustic voice, is very welcome, on your beautiful electonica groove. you know - when that single string sound came in, I was looking forward to where it might lead, maybe even take the lead - one of those neat, written out, violin section solos - that would be fun sometime. i love your music. you have it down technically, musically, - all the best.
The ideal of this piece was to bring about a generic jazz vibe, incorporating various live instruments to the table, alongside keeping that electronic flavor. My intentions were to avoid solo drops to prevent the track from dragging on longer than it necessarily needed to, so the transition of the mashup that i constructed to fit the orchestrated layout could come into play...
Though i did quite an acoustic layout on my song entitled, "Arctic Song". Perhaps you might wanna check that out if you haven't already!
Piano melody compositions done freehand can also be heard on "Crushed Ice" & "For You".
the sounds are great and awesome mixing. unapologetic 100% synth! it works. the drums really keep the interest for me, even as the loop drives on and on, cause you change up the drums. also what keeps it for me is bringing some some hits now and then like the heavy breathing, the siren. i'll tell you one thing - i keep waiting for the next verse of rap to come in! good luck with this ! are you laying more words on it eventually?
the transition from the opening piano was beautiful. all the sounds are beautiful and well mixed. i'm really relaxed listening to this. interesting and unexpected ending with the outer space fade out. critique? let's see: after the piano opening, the loop repeated a few more times than I personally needed before you continued developing composition. peace

the string pizz is an interesting opener. i like that your "palette" of sounds includes "acoustic" as well as electronic. it is interesting also how, after the intro of voice, seems for a second the piece is done, but that it takes off again in a more intense way. let's see - critique? well - maybe the string pizz is a little dry - juice it up somehow?
the intensity grabs you and holds on. i find there is enough variation in the drumming and coloring with your sounds that i keep interest in the steady groove . i favor a wider pallete of sounds - even within synth type sounds, which you use, there may be room for a richer pallete. wonderful work - congrats!
i like the way you take the end of your rap into robot voice land. it's very interesting and (IMHO) pro technique. i think all the sounds, balances, are interesting and well done
your voice is great for rap (IMHO). maybe crammin' a few too many words into too little time at the very beginning?
i like the choice of sounds. some electronic, some - like flute, acoustic sounding. and you mix up the sounds throughout the piece - great!
you know - the drums do grab me - but i want a break from them at some point, and then to come back to them.
- i see a scene in a movie while i listen to this piece. did you imagine ever your art soul might lean toward cinematic
Thanx for your good review...and yeah the drums are simple just because I wanted them to be like that...cause you know I do Hip Hop and if the drum patterns would be too complicated then it wouldn't be easy for a rapper to actually rap on it.
Really,I don't limit myself and I might do cinamatic and all kinds of tracks.
Again thanx for taking some time to review.

what an awesome work. in my humble opinion, the mixing/production is great. oompositionally, I appreciate that you let up on the ostinato now and then, that you have varying sections that dovetail through unifying factor - a string line carrying in I think, usually. the strings sound gorgeous, and it's not just the samples, it's your writing I think. the harp too. lots of dynamics, etc. sounds like a traveling scene in a movie, or one of those scenes where there is some kind of activity going on without dialogue and the music can really come to the foreground. trying to think of some constructive criticism - i guess you know a track clips off at the end and then the whole thing clips at the end. look forward to hearing more of your stuff. good luck.
that's a lot of sound and tracks for a first go at ACID. congrats on that. lots of good ideas. your music has a lot of drive. i'd explore mixing up the intensity level though. good luck.
