on Second Serving by StratOli
bro this is so fresh, i don't play guitar but it is possibly my favourite instrument, i should pick one up, you sound like your having a ball, just riffing and ripping the strings, great rhythm and who knows i might just jump on one of your works with an average vocal but the right words one day, good sound and production

Hi dimestop, I am sure having a ball playing for many yars with my 6 strings toy guitar, please feel free to join. I can also adapt some of my stuff to give more rooms for any fellow musician.

on You work and i shop by RitajustRita
Mrs i know you deliver it tongue in cheek and call it comedy, but its a life truth, women spend men's money, your Cha Ching had me smiling we say Kerrrr-Ching in the UK and the ah ah ad-lib is sweet as, the lyrical content is bang on, thought has gone into it, your writing has seriously improved and i'm not just saying that to butter you up either, i know a thing or two about songwriting and your lines are becoming stronger and stronger, i' ve got a few i'm working on but i want a couple of things, i'm gonna buy a decent mic couple £100 as the one i got is cheap about £50 and then i might see if anybody wants to collab on a song, i will write their lyrics too, if they are happy with that, i'm just starting to get back into it now i've spent some poke(money) too, but its my biggest hobby so why not, my kids and grandkids don't go without from me its my personal treat lol
RitajustRita
RitajustRita replied 8th Sep 2025 - 3 months ago
It's true that this happens in some relationships. Now, there are also many women who have their own income.
You're right to spend some money on your hobby.
Most hobbies cost money, and we practically get everything for free online.
At least I do.
I've tried several microphones myself, ranging from 50 to 120 euro.
Either I couldn't get them to work in my DAW, or the sound was terrible, with a lot of static and ambient noise.
I had a sound card with me, so that couldn't be the problem.
Well, Paul, I'm really curious how it goes for you.I hope it works for you.

on No Fish by TheFrenZ
nice work, great synths, vocals are cool too, yes this is EDM its pumping tho, but i don't know is it just me, but i get a ska vibe too, there is a distinct underlying flavour to my ears, i could here bad manners or specials on this
its also trancey in places, so a mixture of vibes, well done it takes talent to gel sounds that create a track with punch, big score here bro. and i listened to it all, you need a bit of oil for that door :))
TheFrenZ
TheFrenZ replied 3rd Sep 2025 - 3 months ago
Thanks, glad you like it. 12 Massive tracks using 10 presets, I created all vocals. Had to layer the kick. Still have to find the squeaky door :)

on Morphic Resonance by BullittVolante
Bullitt, thats a menacing intro, great bassline, its a builder very cinematic and could fit a few different fields, i would have liked a bigger bang around the 1.12 mark like the 2.00 min one but i guess your building suspense, great work nontheless, your description is spot on dark and brooding, good work
BullittVolante
BullittVolante replied 23rd Nov 2025 - 2 weeks ago
Hi, thanks for leaving some feedback. Yeah, in hindsight, I probably could have added a bit more bang at the 1.12 mark. This is exactly why I appreciate feedback so much, it's great to get other peoples opinions on what you've produced. Glad you liked the track, and again, thanks for leaving feedback.

on Gravity - feat Odarka by fanisatt
hi fanis, Odarka is an excellent vocalist who puts up lots of vocals for community use she always sounds great no matter what artist do with her voice and genre, she also tended to get over used, sometimes you could have 5-6 tracks in featured together all her vocals just different tracks, its nice to here your work and it sits along with others i here another good work using her vocals, well done my friend its a nice listen on a sunny afternoon here in the UK

on My Song My Plea by RichardShekari
i've carried anger i couldn't tame
a restless fire i tried to blame
the world as pulled my heart astray
but you still called me anyway

beautiful words Richard, i can so associate with
['ve carried anger all my life
i'm now finally learning to control it
but its a daily battle and exactly why music is my release
you take your troubles to the lord
i carry mine and release the weight in song
and your reply to Anthony gives me a clear understanding of your messages, there your private conversations with your maker, its not your goal mass appeal, its never forced, your message is always clear its about you as a person and how you communicate with him, your refreshing, never stop being you, honesty is worth its weight in gold to some people and i am one of them some
and taking a phrase from your comment about the cruise not being the same without me all good ships have a good pastor, LM is no different we have a great one
RichardShekari
RichardShekari replied 31st Aug 2025 - 3 months ago
I'm truly grateful my songs reach you in the way you've described. For me, they've always been personal conversations with the Big Boss, and knowing they resonate with others is a real blessing. Your honesty and kindness mean so much, and I'm thankful to share this space with genuine souls like you.

That cruise ship line really put a smile on my face-you've definitely got a way with words.
Thanks again for the encouragement, and keep pouring yourself into music. The world needs that kind of truth and authenticity.

nothing to be critical about bro, its a draft, the master is to come and there will be changes, the vocal is dominant in this cut, but the content is good they will shine later emotional and deep i look forward to it's progress

on Spirit Walkers by Kayos2
great to see you venture into indie Kay, i love indie tracks, the artist can be just them and not to perform to a strict genre, like here the little highs and squeaks cool high notes great performance good lyrics excellent work from Oli as usual and a terrific end really good work guys
Kayos2
Kayos2 replied 29th Aug 2025 - 3 months ago
That means alot, thank you, Paul - I wanted to give a pop Indie approach a go, with a deeply Spiritual subject - Oli is the production star and I come up with those little KayOS inflections ;)

on When i wanna dance by RitajustRita
Rita, although i have many good friends here, you are one of my oldest, you commented on my very first track years ago along with Zoot Maj Puesdoable and others, we were always about we had consistency, yeah you have little breaks, i'm back off mine but we remained good friends all this time, we encourage each other and are both truthful to each other regards our work, for me it's great to know your there, obviously another listen, ooh ooh uh ooh ooh and the crack foley is sic, timed to perfection. by the way i DO smoke about 10 a day now but i smoke weed to relax, de-stress only after work with a coffee, yes, i drink buckets of the stuff, but i got to have a cup of tea when i first wake.
i'm 60 in February, yet i feel 35 and damb right i wanna dance and sing my head off for a few years yet, i'm having fun and 'going crazy', see what i done there, if i do go on the track, i'm might pull you in to drop 8 bars :) i've had it months but just not done anything with it
You surprised me the first time i heard you, remember the nick-name i gave you Boom Boom lol, now you just impress me
RitajustRita
RitajustRita replied 28th Aug 2025 - 3 months ago
It's nice that we've seen each other grow through all the ups and downs. By the way, I'll be 61 in January, and in my head I feel like I'm 35, but I'm finding it hard to accept that I've suddenly had health issues for the past two years.
Everyone keeps telling me I should be happy I'm still alive after colon cancer, and of course I am.
But I can't accept this "me ." Okay, enough about that.
Bring on your beat and vocals, Paul...I'll give you my 8 bars.
Nice to hear that i do impress you.Thanx Paul.

on When i wanna dance by RitajustRita
now that is so freeking strange, i know the track, its called 'going crazy' one of Riddick's beats, i was gonna do a rap on it at some stage i think i've downloaded it too, so it appealed to me immediately, you have altered it too :) well its mastered different, put your own style on it, well done i liked the comedic lyrics, mine would be a dimestop special, its a banging track, is it any wonder we clicked, eh Rita,
we probably have other things in common too, we're both old buggers for sure lol, great work and more proof to me you got good taste Mrs :))
RitajustRita
RitajustRita replied 28th Aug 2025 - 3 months ago
Hi Paul. Firts thanx for your compliment.
It's quite a coincidence that we have the same beat.
I'm curious to see what you've made of it.
You can create so many different things with one beat.
What else do we have in common?
Uhh
I drink gallons of coffee, but I think you drink tea.
I smoke and you don't.
But we're both older, we love music, we were late learners and started making beats late, and we had the balls to sing.
At night, I often work on music, and I think you do too.
We don't want to be pigeonholed or pigeonholed.
We still want to dance and be crazy.
Do you know anything else?

on Finale by AnthonyAttard
no Anthony its not too loud, i like it, your usually quiet music type, i was surprised thats all, i think its so cinematic, i am super impressed to be truthful, and i'm listening right now again, and although my theme remains the same, this listen revealed to me a melody that has what i can only describe as a longing vibe, waiting for something a return the driving drum gives it an urgency and the lead guitar is when your in the action and letting off smile, leave it alone nothing wrong

on Shadow Road Shuffle by ValveDriver
of the charts good as always love the cough, that takes thought, its perfect soundtrack material for a number of different styles, theres a mysteriousness about it, but then again there is also a feeling of showing your confidence and walking proud be that alone or with followers by your side it has a dramatic feel a really cinematic vibe Aaron a great western as the underdogs get ready to fight, where's the A team when you need 'em eh. don't worry ValveDrivers here
ValveDriver
ValveDriver replied 26th Aug 2025 - 3 months ago
Thanks, Paul.
If you listen just before the cough you can hear the lighter flicking as he lit his smoke. Also, right around 35 seconds in you can hear him move his chair. It's faint, but it's in there.
Funny how this turned cinematic. I wasn't really going for that, but I guess it is what it is, right? As long as people like it, that's all that matters.
Thanks again for swingin' by and giving it a whirl.
Take care, bud.
Aaron.

on Finale by AnthonyAttard
wow Anthony, epic brother, what i fantastic intro that continues to drive right throw the track, very loud is how this needs to play out, its like a locomotive

the video would be epic too, Pocahontas type sat washing her close in the cool stream thinking of her beloved fighting the elements and the rich investors taking his sacred land camera pans to the brave with war paint on, focused like an eagle running through the forest closesly followed by his loyal wolf he rescued as a cub, bow on shoulder and long dagger in his hand as he effortlessly surveys the path in front, back to Pocahontas by the stream just praying for his safe return and a huge stag over his shoulder for dinner
snap shot the greedy investor counting his cash, its cool though bro the wolf eats him at the end :))

fantastic bro well done

i was not expecting a power packed track, so good i played it twice
wowser, this is film score levels bro hollywood beckoning, send it to the writers of Jamanji

What a scene !!!
Hi Paul, you think it is very loud, I should lower a bit its volume...extreme mastering with great tools that I need to get to know better snd better. I will try to fix it.
I too believe that most of my tracks have a cinematic flavour, but I have never actually been under the pressure of real silence and a video, that wait some music and sound effects to become alive, with special colours and feelings.
Thank you for your support and your imaginative comment. I really do not know if I would be so productive if thinks were viceversa. I mean building music on a given scene like the one you so nicefully describe. It should be a challenge....
Beat, regards, Anthony

on Trouble by RitajustRita
now you are sounding dark and sultry Mrs, your voice continues on its upwards journey, there is confidence in it, and your song writing is improving five fold, you put emotion and feeling into your words and i think it carries more weight because their your own and not something you have copied, i also agree with Manu, you are an essential community player as is she, its too male dominated, not enough females to balance the scales of testosterone another great listen, well done Mrs
