I can't tell you how refreshing it is to hear that great sounds again!!! I owned myself an atari when I startet to play with bands, but I sold it when I got my first pc, one of the biggest mistakes i ever made (and the list of my mistakes is very very very long ...)
to the song: greetings from joe zawinul ... I mean this as a compliment, not as a joke or something, great harmonies, great scales!!

just one thing to say (and I hope it's useful):
you are right, the bass is great, but I would turn it down a little (just a little) and make the guitars a little louder to get a better balance in the mix, cause I think that this would give the whole tune even more pressure and power than it has right now ...

cool songwriting, the guitarloop could be a really hypnotic one if it was a bit louder, it could carry the whole song I think, and at last: you should have much more confidence in your voice cause you got a good one, I believe if you do that the song is no longer just a good song, it would be a very, very good one!!!!

this one is brilliant, most of all the vocals are very exact, dynamic changes are effective, good songwriting (jazzy harmonies), just one thing: for my taste the bass sound could be a better one, a bit rougher, fatter ...
