This is a lounge great mircophone dropping the song. The bass if it had a sloghter stronger boost. It'd be an easy song to drop to a DJ playing Massive Attacks' Safe From Harm and people would think it came from the same band... or easily at any bar playing lounge.
Love it. The piano is brilliant but takes too much predominance in the mix. About 4.56 with the Rhodes is the level it should be at. At that point I'm in with the vibe!
Rapresent2. Greetings. Thanks for stopping by. Your feedback is on point. I'm going to remedy the piano with a different one that will set better in the mix. Yep, I'll probably go with a Yamaha C7 on the next round. Be safe.
Nice trap feel and reminds me of BT - Brian Wayne Transeau. As an instrumental, you need to change out the main driving melody or mix it up a bit. I'd get a breathy girl, like Skye to collab on this track or make it into a meditation track with a singing bowl and some instructions (done by AI).
Personally I love the hard digital feel. I'd soften it with some analogue amps or master filters (tape effects) to make it sound warmer!
Nice bass sound. Reminds me of 'Once Upon A Time' album tracks but modernised and lounge feel. You could easily hold back on the sticato and make it more lay back for a chill out background track (in a good way - as that's the vibe of those songs). Well done! Very clear mix/master
Muy bien, eres un gran fan de Héroes del Silencio pero mas allá no - tipo :D
You should check out UK's The Mission and their first album The First Chapter - check out 'Wasteland' and you'll see where their sound came from.
Their lead singer came from 'Sisters of Mercy'. If you hear their first album you'll hear Hussey, who left them to form The Mission's and also Heroes sound.
I loved how you revived the sound and added new nuances to a gothic/rock ballad
Hey dude, I'm French and I didn't know "heroes del silencio" at all, I wanted to make a track based on Diego's voice which sounds a bit rock! thank you again for your appreciation!
Michael
Really nice song. I'd put my vocals in the centre where the bass and drums are. If that's your style great, but I'd kinda remind people with an empty of loose beginning space to tell them where you're starting. Other than that I loved the groove and feel love it gave!
Hey what OS do you use? There's a few Izotope products that don't work on Monterey but has a great double bass sound. I used it for - look on Spotify for Summertime Scratch & Synth. This was the default sound, doubling with a normal bass (in the same iZoTope VST) and using TrapDrive to give it a deep edge for mixing. If you like that sound I'll dig through my old files and try and find the app. If you have an older Mac, the program is always in a sale.
hey thanks for the tip - I have a mac and have avoided updates so run Catalina - I have a lot of double bass vst's the akai mpk has a great library and I have purchased others from native instruments etc. the issue is more my writing a decent double bass line. However I will check out this one - always worth exploring options - thanks for your kind offer
Loving the soul/neo-jazz feel. I feel you need a double bass as the bass, while having the synth bass in the background. It'll make a lot of lounge / jazz chillout dudes more. I'm a big lover of the Ibizian vibe. Has a LOT of potential.
Thanks for listening and the warm feedback - I like the idea of a double bass line and Ive played with them before but not managed to get a good sound happening yet ... practice makes perfect (or more accurately increases the chances of doing something better)
Thank you Rap, Some tracks just plain need to be heard, His ability to make words come to life amazed me. My hope is that this track touches some one who needs a jump start on compation in this world. We're all HUMAN. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Nice. Lots of atmosphere. Sounds atmospheric almost a noire soundtrack with industrial country, Japanese with trap influence! For me too much saturation and wet at this stage needs a little air. In terms of construction and mood very good. I was reminded a bit of 28 days later. This is like a post apocalyptic Asian meets Western movie soundtrack. I'd do two versions of this. Wet and one with a vocalist doing ohhs and ahhs... incidental lyrics. Well done!
Thank you so so so much for bringing this into my life. The vibe is so dope, I need more of those kind of songs in my playlist lol. Glad you liked it tho.
Wow... loved the flow and delay. Vocals a bit over distorted with chorus but I love the minimalism. How you do you that vinyl slow down that a plug in. Very interested. Peace and keep it up!
yes i will say the qaulity of the vocals are not the greatest this song has no plug ins on it and was chopped and screewed using a dj program this song is nothing compared to other songs i have chopped and screewed this song is about 12 years old just wanted to see what people thought before i go crazy with it thanks for the comment

Perfectly mixed but too center focused.
Add some width (izotope elements).
