WOW what a driving zealous beat! one to get the body moving, then it takes you into some next dimension. Very creative indeed. Keep up the good work! What a mind-trip :)
I like this kind of stuff. I play online chess while listening to it. I'm American, but in my head I picture some young Scottish guy with a shaved head, jeans, white shirt, and a leather jacket running through the streets, or on the sidewalk trying to get through people, partially bumping into people on the way, in a black in white video with semi chaotic camera shots. It has a lot going on, so I don't get bored. It has like that old British guitar sound with chiptune or arcade sounds and plenty of drums. It has a cool 80s vibes too, sometimes. I'm listening to it on the speakers of my Lenovo laptop, by the way.
The sounds are definitely industrial. There are so many different genres mixed into this one. It almost feels rock-ish with a tip of trance twinkled on top. You called it Cyberpunk glitch; if this is what that genre sounds like, I may need to dig deeper. Great work.
I'm totally up for a jam. I have a practice room near Cambridge Heath with amps and a drumset, so if you're interested (and not too far, London is huge, I already found), send me a DM!
nice track bro, i like industrial sounds im a streetdancer. nice cyberpunk, the intro was good for me strong rythme as already mentioned good mix and production nice job
Fuck the Tories, let's get that out of the way.
Your funk is appreciated, but not all parts seem to cooperate. The guitar and the drums are great (there could be a bit more variation in the guitar), but the bass (I think) is creating confusion.
This is something I do myself quite often; I love playing bass and when I do I often go on a rampage and do way too much, which distracts from the overall vibe. The bass, unfortunately, needs to serve the band, just like politicians should serve the people ;)
Thanks BaoBou.... nice end byline! I might quote you in a later song as a wise person once said.
I think the same with the bass and as an actual bass player playing all parts LOL. I think I've become the guitar player who never plays in time who tells me he can't hear me (his 4000w cab on max).
Do you mean the bass with the legato slide, or the clav (stevie wonder one - mid-bass which provides the off-beat bass pass ). I think the latter.
I'm trying to figure out what the 149 listeners didn't hear that I heard. Maby they weren't members or something to not leave a comment. ThIs is pleasingly interesting. The movement of this is cinematic, mixed with symphonic over tones. Perfect combination for a creative expression of sound. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Hey - I dont mind the slower start although many people never give a track a chance if it doesnt immediately appeal - the early post intro part of this track very much reminds me of early 'Cure' (no bad thing in my book) and then it gets a little more industrial with some nice cross rhythms happening - I like it and you could certainly build this into a real banger : )
Wow thanks for the feedback. If it's not hurting the ears, it's a win. I hear between tracks for everything I listen to and focus on the groove meat, while the rest becomes the salad, then to another part.
My past was the Cure, Mission, SoM, Nephilim, New Order, NMA and Front 242... but semi pro as Rush, FnM. I generally make complex rhythms as a bassist turned pianist. I hear them all, and it makes sense but not to everyone:D
I like the main body, the arpeggio is good and the rhythm is strong.
Now long intro's... That's sort of a pet peeve of mine. You can definitely have a long intro, but in the first 10 seconds you have to grip the user by the short and curlies and explain why they should stick around. For me you're doing that around 0:15. That's the bit that makes me sit up and pay attention... So for my money, consider to start your track there.
All in all I like it, looking forward to a next version!
You're right about the intro. Once vocals are added, I typically do a Rammstein-like talk-over for the begging with a single word or two. I do this to build the assault of the main verse. The song did originally start where you said :D. I'll take it aboard to start it there if the first part with vocals sucks. Typically I start all my songs in such a way. Here's an example you have to search it on youtube: Som Quatre Potes - cançó protesta igualtat l’accés l’espai públic amb gos - Xarn Ego. There's also Pixapins on the same channel which does the same. The rest of the songs are on hold with the Mastering producer.

Your tracks have more of an 80s britpop vibe, but the main thing is that I really really like it!

ahaahhahhhhahhahaa about the amp. Too many stories with my Ashdown 1000w cab is a guitarist's bane (not even pushing it to 4).
If we jam in a room. We need a lot of beers.... and likely cushioned blunt instruments hahaha.
Have a great evening :D
