This is great, all the percs are well mixed and the bass has great rhythm. Especially like the vocal drop out around 1:08. I thought I heard some disco / funk samples dropping in but the track finished, would love to hear a full mix reminds me of pleasurekraft, good job
Im liking the chord progression and nicely sidechained lead but I imo its a bit cheesey and old skool for my taste,
Specifically I think the snare rolls could be a bit interesing. I think the percussion is also too acoustic and could be perhaps more analouge for the style.
On the postive I think the eq is really clear and mastering very balanced,
Im really liking the tribal loop, good use of panning the the track seems to breath alot. Im unsure of the vocal but I can see it use in track movement,
I think this would be perhaps better without the the vocal. The progression and indroduction of new layers is smooth and natural and has kept me well interested. I dont like the low 'flute' kinda sound that comes in 2:30 sounds a bit odd for the direction the tracks been going. I think a saw bass pluck similar to maybe Booka Shade would go very well,
Thanks for the positive words, I'm glad that you like the track. I understand what your saying about certain elements in the track. I think I will now let this tune stew for a couple of days and move onto something new.
The mastering sounds excellent I think the balance is perfect, im listening through allen & heath xone headphones which are really true headphones.
I think the reverse crash at the beggining sounds a bit too acoustic, and also the horn on the first break down a bit old skool for my taste.
The pluck on the break I really like. The atmosphere which builds on the pads is also really great. Your lead has a prefect trance sound, its not muddy at all. The chord progression is quite euphoric too.
I also really like the snare running through sounds very signalrunners style. The track on the break reminds me of 'meet me in montauk' which is an awesome track. Another thing I really like is the 'Voices' sailing in the background, they come through really nicely good use of panning,
I hope this helps just my opinion but great work man really loving the track
