C'est un superbe morceau vraiment!
La voix rajoute une excellente texture àla mÃÂlodie envoutante du piano. Quant au rythme, rien àrajouter, il est parfait!
Je l'ai mise en favorite, bon boulot ;)
yes the groove is awesome. Because the bass sounds great and is really well mixed into the song! Brass and guitars are great but I also love all the sound effects you added, the vocals, synths, plane? lol. Did you add a Chewbacca voice too?? Are you sure this is Earth and not Tattoine or something :D
Great work!!
This is exactly the music I enjoy listening when I go out...unfortunately there isn't any jazz clubs nearby XD I miss this so much...
The recording is very good actually!
Nice, a new song from Steinaa :P
Your style is great man, but you already know this right?
You could even make the strings sounds higher to accentuate the epic tone imho.
Hey again Mund!
I always appreciate your comments, and thanks again for the kind words..!
I tried to experiment with the strings, and I thought this was the best way to use them.. But then again it might be something wrong with my ears :p
Thanks, Mund. I was a little insecure about putting the metal part in. But I always have felt that classical and metal belong together and that they can be used to intensify each other. Were he alive today, I am sure Wagner would have been in a progressive heavy metal band. :-) I enjoy when the combination works in a song. Thank you for your kind words. Kper
This is a great track really. I love the cello and violin incessantly repeating on the left pan. It creates a great mood, something I could easily picture in a movie, with a tense atmosphere or something...
Well if you allow me to suggest something really minor, from a mixing point of view only don't worry :) I think there is a bit too much reverb on the left cello. This is a personal taste I agree, but the cello sounding closer to the listener would be adding to the oppressive mood...By the way, could you tell me what VST instruments you used for the strings?
And I think you should make that song with a real guitar ;) It would definitely sound better believe me.
This is too bad you use a virtual guitar for such a nice track!
Anyway that's a great song you did and I really enjoyed it, so thanks a lot!
Thnx for the review very much.
For the vst's I used Directwave for the violin and background strings. I used a soundfont for the cello. Also I really wish I could play the guitar for tracks like this. For now I just use the standard guitar on fl studio and try to find virtual amps to make it sound more realistic.
This is a great mix of electro sound-hip hop beat. A dark mood is coming from it, I like it. Yes you could add some vocals to this but I think instrumental as it is works perfectly...maybe to dub a movie or something, that'll be cool!
thx for your kind words i always welcome all reviews and you have definately shed a new light on the way i interpretate my tracks. if you enjoyed this one you should check out my others on here and also on raporia.com as there are many other tracks simular style to this :)
Yes it's extremely enjoyable, the bridge is perfectly made, panning the guitar like this with a chorus and reverb effect is very creative!
Are you doing all the mixing and mastering by yourself? Because it stands in comparison to professional production in my opinion! And for something you did in one night...
I would have loved something a bit longer though ;) It's a perfect production like Behind the Mirror but I'm a bit frustrated when it stops, because I love the music and want more :D
Hey again Mund, and thanks for an awesome and full review :)
Yeah, th mixing and mastering I do myself. And its a highly rated compliment when you say it stands in comparison to professional production..! Thank you very much! Hehe.. there will be more songs man - maybe a colab..? :)
Wow, what can I say?? This is metal music like I love it. Very powerful drums and powerchords, like many metal bands from Northern Europe btw!
I can feel from your music that you're a big fan of In Flames too ;)
The add of the synth is a fantastic touch to the track, it blends perfectly. For the drums, did you use Addictive? If you did so, this is really well mixed and produced, so congratulations! I'm gonna have to listen to the rest of your songs now!

Eshar deserves some credit too, her vocals added to yours give the song a great mood.
