those low strings are nasty. this track explains what i mean when i say a piece doesnt have to have 143 channels to sound full and vibrant. that synth(?) accent in the background adds just the right amount of "something special". diggin this alot.
great work!
very shadow ::as in DJ Shadow lol:: ..so i immediately dig it. amazing synth work on this, but youre right..that beat kills. great production value, as always. really exciting track.
kudos!
i would totally do my belly dance work out to this track. very sensual. love all of the elements you have here..and they all seem to play together quite nicely.
really nice work!
the production value of this is insane. it sounds so bloody good!
the bells following the synth? UUUGH!!! its genius!
this is such a demented oompaloompa-esque track. im totally diggin your creativity on this one. it has single handedly filled up my oh so empty cup of inspirado...im so mad im at work right now, cause all i wanna do is go compose now.
uber kudos..love this!
your wobbles always make me grin. you are in total control of them...they are at your mercy. how can someone NOT nod their head to this?!
excellent work!
heh! wow its been a long time since i've listened to this song - thanks for reviewing it! It made it a long...long time ago, but im glad you liked it :)
this is ill.
im sure people have mentioned that the second stanza feels awkward because its off beat. there are a few other short instances of this thru out the track. i think i can tell when it was done intentionally and when it might have simply been matter of misalignment of channels. either way, this track is FAR too sick to let something like rhythm discrepancies take away from its bad-assedness. i faved this because its naughty. i would love to hear it with the rhythm cleaned up a bit.
nice work!
again, great lyrics...definitely radio ready.
this track could benefit from some compression. and dont be afraid to play with the levels/EQ of your vocals. a lil bit of clean up goes a long way.
nice work!
...gotta love that slayer..i think all of us FL users would know that sound even if a nanosecond of it was played lol. and you used it in a really stylish and creative way. not only setting up a melody, but then using the stabs as almost a percuss element [plus, you know a crowd would go wild when they heard the daftpunk-esque melody come out in that changeup]. this is such a spirited track. lots of elements, all working in perfect harmony. wicked fun...
awesome work!
sweet jeebus, somebody better put some lyrics to this right away.
...i might be that person, actually lol. ive been thinkin about tryin my hand as a lyricist. LOVE this track's break! so fun. its definitely at home in the electro genre, but would be just as welcome in dance. creative changeups and accents thru out, and what a pretty piano element at the end. just a solid piece all around... 'ts got me shimmying in my seat :)
great job!
love this.
for me, the mark of an exceptional instrumental will always be if i automatically hear lyrics/the hook without having to think about it. all of your beats do this for me. great drums [as i have come to expect from you] and tight bass melody. that organ is the perfect addition to this banger.
great work!
hey oasis, thank you alot for the well written feedback u bring me here appreciate it alot. I was unsure bout the organ first n almost wanted to remove the whole organ part or compose a new melody anyway Im glad I didnt do it now and see there people like it thxx cheerz from dusthill
ambient crunk?
i love it! you werent afraid to have fun with the synth melody. your percuss accents are skillfully placed and the production value sounds solid. really dig this track. keep 'em comin...
nice work!
i covet your synth work on this ultra deep space track. beautifully haunting melody, made ominious by a tight beat and accents thru out. you thought outside the box for this genre, and i think it paid off...
great job!
our kids are sometimes our greatest inspirado..even havin my son in the room when m workin seems to bring a fresh vibe to my work.
i have a sneaking suspicion your daughter has the same effect...cause this is FIAH!
again, GREAT synth work on this. the intro and drop are beyond dirty. the levers seem much nore on point, as well. that bass drum is hammerin str8 thru my breastplate...as it should. great changeups and accents thru out. i like this one a LOT.
wonderfull job!
my goodness...PA bangin out the hard shyte, huh? lol
this is hot. hard hittin beat with a simple, yet effective synth melody is a recipie for a hit right now. i hear just a touch of distortion in the drums [could be my shytty headphones, but if not, you can just compress them a bit and that should go away]. i really dont have any other critiques on this track...i likey!
really nice work!
wonderful job with the lyrics [your voice has quite a pleasing quality to it, as well]. if youve got more, id love for you to take a few of my naked pieces and see if you can write to them. get at me if youre interested in a collab.
the only critique i have is to watch your sibilance on the 's', 'p' and 't' sounds [easily fixed with some pantyhose stapled over the cut out rim of a big plastic cup or bowl you can hold up between you and the mic...if you wanna stay hood wit it lol]. other than that, this is a hot track.
great work!
really chill ambient-esque dubstep track. i love hearing artist on here who dont mind coloring outside of the genre box. great wobble and and production value.
good work!
this is a naughty lil dubstep ya got here. LOVE the organ accent. your wobbles are filthy. lots of creative changeups and accents thru out. really fun to listen to...cant wait to hear more from you...
great work!
...so airy...
youre right, this is definitely ripe for lyrics. really great use of the piano and flute loop. the deep bass (synth?) break is a great layer to the track. really enjoyed this.
great work!
Thanks alot for the response!! Im still looking for an acapella to throw in there. Lemme know if you know of any good ones that would match the feel of this track.
well, that chorus is going to be stuck in my head for the rest of the week.
this is complete. that critique is, to me, the equivelent of a perfect 10 in gymnastics; its as rare as a unicorn. i have absolutely nothing to say about adding or taking away any elements. this track also has such a timeless vibe to it. i couldve been dancing to this in college or my 4 year old son could easily be dancing to it when he goes to college lol. its the quintisential club track. i loved it.
mad kudos.
skillful use of the pella.
youre showing a great deal of creative development in your changeups/breaks. i love when artitsts arent afraid to play with the many rhymic layers a track has hidden beneath the surface. production valus sounds great, as well.
i agree with Number: i would love the bass to have a bit more "oomph" [me? want the bass heavier? shocker!! lol]. other than that, this is spot on for me.
great work!
::devilish grin::
i likey...
of course, because i am an admitted bass whore, i want the wobble to be even deeper and more prominant, but thats really the only criticism i have. love your synt accents. the fun tempo play thru out makes this piece feel like youre in a getaway car with an escaped monkey whos never drivin a stick, but is slowly getting the hang of it.
...and who doesnt love escape monkies driving getaway cars?
