on Crepuscular Light by Silaphot
captures the light as is moves across the last arc from dusk to dark - great music - respect
Silaphot
Silaphot replied Unknown
Thank you Mstokes. At first i only wanted to capture dusk, but felt that there was little progression in the music, thus like you said, a last arc from dusk to dark gave for a better progression. Thanks again!

great looping with some fav loops - now yr drumming really makes this an excellent song - fav sound - the off-tempo crash cymbals in the last half - really added more groove and depth - not that that was called for but a great way to enhance the music - much respect - i really dig the track and find it as instructive as it is groovy - ah, groovy first - peace

thank you very much for your review :) I will spare you the details but this brilliant masterpiece (jst kidding) was actually a test for embedding steganographic images in sounds. Think of it like the Golden Disc on the interstellar Voyager II tin can. In reverse. http://www.youtube.com/chargen

on Babylon Crackers - Roll and Tumble by n0mad23
echo bear + john - this is a take-no-prisoners mix - slave music affinities are striking - hardship, hard-won moments of joy - much respect
n0mad23
n0mad23 replied Unknown
My inspiration for the melody line was thinking about my brother-from-a-different-mother from Niger (Abdou), and how he hasn't seen his wife or son now for over 10 years. True hardship, and makes me realize just how strong his family is. No surprise that this would reflect the same sonic qualities as the original Blues and connections to slavery. Hadn't thought about this aspect until reading your review. Nice one! Thank you much.

insanely widescreen - the intro and re-emergence/transformations of the 'small' sounds are f*ckin perfect - your own animal and altogether original - call me a heretic but trent spends too much time in front of a mirror for me - this is looking outwards - great music
