Sheesh!...someone needs to throw a bucket of water on you bro! I sense mastery amongst mixing/arrangement..I'm sorry you'd probly be looking for a lil more constructive criticism but this is jus perfect..cant find anything wrong with it at all...Im really amazed that you used so many programs to create this tho..I'm looking into jumping into some others as well. If I may ask where'd you acquire the knowledge to use em? Books? or was it more of like a program in specific enabled you to jump over the learning curve with others..

Thanks for your review, I started out just using FL Studio with nothing else. It took me a good 2 years before I really got the hang of it. I mainly learned it through trial and error - but I also found that youtube is brilliant for tutorials on almost any specific subject. I came across VSTi's like Nexus & Vanguard which have some amazing sounding instruments which I use as a plug in to FL. These can be downloaded quite easily but are very large in file size. I used Adobe Audition to do some final mastering to the track. Mastering can be tricky and again comes with experience. Hope this helps! Thanks again!

*["GODPLEX" REVIEW]*

This is Wicked wicked awesome! I can invision some warrior from the far deserts walkin past some merchants selling camel meat in his journey to find the kidnapped princess lol I think the vocal needs to be worked on a bit tho..its really hard to explain..I like that its faint, i just feel some how it should just be made a bit more clear perhaps getting it to duck behind the beat a lil more..

This sounds really unique..all I know is judging by this track you have the potential to make a really ridicalous track from the usage of your drum programming along with your string and bass arrangement..I guess for this track, the rhythmic synths set it off a bit..I still enjoyed the listen tho..keep at it bud!

You did a pretty good job with the acapella..Not to knock the artist but I was a lil more interested in the instrumental itself..where'd you get your hands on those cool guitar licks?

Very west coast! you should put a lil reverb on the the vocals and where'd that grungy guitar come from..that was awesome

Track needs work man..I cranked up my (ahem)"Ryan Leslies" lol and they were telln me that you need to change or amp up those drums, I dont know if your intentions were to have em hitting softly, but for my taste its almost too soft..I know its an old track but i was still expecting those crazy effects u tend to use that act as fillers which is not that evident in this track..I must ask tho..how did you distort that clap or is it a snare? Its also separated a lil much for its placement..(its like waaay to to the left)And did you time stretch it?..Piano was cool...no reverb? I don't want this review to come out as me being harsh man..I actually like this track and was there when you made it so I id like to see it turn into a smash...also too..I'd like a request for that Timbo track you have in ur closet sir, aaaand...aand...Candypaint...please! Caaan-dy Paint! The people need it! lol oooh FABO!

This is really awesome..I like your range, as for this piece alone I really like your choices of instruments to create a bit of that ambient vibe.

The rap was ok to me..I guess over the years I just havent been into the whole super fast bizzy bone/twista delivery..although it was cool..Now the beat...the Beat is disgusting bro..definitely elite quality..It sounds a lil like Portishead(triphop)..Which instruments did you orchestrate, please tell me the trumpet, bell, and the church organs at the end were you...I need to get my hands on that pronto lol And as far as for the sample what genre of music does that fall into so I could possibly find something similar..(you dont really have to tell me..I kno some people are iffy about givn details on their productions but it'd help)...last but not least please keep more tracks like this coming...

This was pretty tite..I almost had to get on you when I heard mobb deep cause I thot u were gonna chop up one of my fav beats of all time..huge no no in my book lol..as for the track itself that you put together..hot..I'd like to hear someone with a lloyd banks type flow on it..that'd be the nail in the coffin for a classic...

on a new beginning by kosmin
This is decent lil jam..i like the synths you used and the scratches..you may need to place some reverb on the toms and jus a tid bit of delay to get that surrounding effect..or even use a preset for like hall or cathedral n jus tweak it down a bit..they sound too chopped..then I guess from there the only thing you'll have to worry about is mixing it down..nice job

on Organismao by CyKosis
How'd you do that Trent Reznor distorting effect with that ringing noise lol, really bizarre..that alone made me pause for a moment..You had some crzy compilations of effects coming in at the third quarter of the song as well..I must say tho I was crossing my fingers that you'd cross into linkn parkish mode with some guitar play and what not but I forgot this is only electronic..all in all I still enjoyed

- You should check out a group called "Justice" and another called "RAtatat"..they do some really interesting things with electronic sounds...Hint the king to me is mr. NIN himself..lol
he's of another world..

CyKosis replied Unknown
It's funny you say that because Ratatat and Justice are two of my FAVORITE groups lol. This song was HIGHLY inspired by them and I was going to put some guitar on it, but my friend Jason was too busy to help out while I was making it.

And on my keyboard I have an instrument setting called Sin Wave and I turned up the modulation on it so it sounds bell-like to get that effect. I also recorded it live and it recorded some background noise into it

For someone with minimal knowledge amongst music theory you managed to pull off a pretty nice track! I'm in love with orchestral work myself, more so cinematic type pieces that incorporate that and sound like something that should be in a movie..and I totally understand the difficulty of going by ear and feel bud..ur not alone lol,i'll be looking forward to seeing ur progression..you should check out my attempt with my tracks "lionheart" and "Dances with wolves"

on Bsoundz-Club Akon by Bsoundz22
Knowing that this is working progress I see alot of potential in this track...I think since the intro is dry it does stretch a bit so I would expect something like effects of some sort to play in as fillers before the beat drops..How ever the beat drop was hot..theres also this lil tic tock default like noise at the end..It gets a lil repetitive, you should change it up by like the third bar of it..I like the "schools out bell" lol! Overall decent track buddy, I kno your capability so I will always expect much from you...by the way, those sounds are nasssty..they're like piercing my monitors lol but in a good way..hook a brotha up maine lol
Even tho it was cluby alot of elements gave me a feel of 808's n heartbreak jus from the sounds..not the overall track..Im in love with the bass too lol
