some cool sounds here. needs sythesization and polishing (eqing and mastering). i love the electro influences. drums are boring. good job working the vocals into the track. keep producing.
very nice dude! i would say the vocals before the drop need some work... they sound overdriven or distorted or something. great EQing overall and it sounds great!
sick wobbles of course. that goes without saying. i would suggest more of a gradual building intro and the drop could be better but overall def one of the better dstep tracks on looperman. peace!
your growling bass during the intro is sick. percussion is good. drop is kindof weak. need more transitions and pads to fill things out between sections. also your basslines are too distorted/overdriven but they have some potential. keep refining it and it could be really good.
yea its a great start but its pretty barebones. i agree pads would help a great deal to fill it out. some other effects would be great... maybe some more hats and beat change ups. great sound so far though man!
i like your percussion... i agree, some of the wobbles sound really good. others not so much. pretty minimal feel which can be cool. anyways keep producing and im sure everything will click together and make a bangin track.
pretty sick dude. great melodic progressions that match the vocals. i would touch it up in a few places by adding like some reverb on the vocals and i would also probably take down the levels on the high hats that you bring in at points. but overall you hit the nail on the head yo good job.
excellent drums. i love most of the bass sounds. production is tight. nice groove. i would say some of the basslines are not uniform in their keys but overall it doesnt detract much from the tune. it would sound better if everything were in tune though. big ups!
great intro, the drop is pretty sick. i think your wobble levels need to come down or lose some of the overdrive cause they sound a little too crunchy to me. Anway pretty creative toon here. I liked it.
excellent lounge track. i should really try my hand at something like this cause i love what youve done especially those f'ing awesome vocals. an absolute perfect match with your house groove. i agree with poster below... i wanna be at a beach bar in mexico or florida ahaha.
agreed, this has some potential. primary problems are that your vocals are not in time with the tempo of the drums which makes your drop seem awkward and when you use smaller chunks inbetween some of the beats they also sound bad. i dont know what minor2go is talking about. the wobbles are in the correct tempo and line up relatively well with your drums. work on transitions. sometimes you will just drop in a totally new bassline with not a trace of the old one remaining. lastly fix the keys of your basslines because they dont match.
thanks man glad u like it... looking for a vocal to throw in, no luck so far, i'm too picky when it comes to that, always have a difficult time deciding what to use
Interesting stuff. Your echoing synth stabs are really nice. I think your bass synth could be a bit more intersting... its kindof generic atm. it would be nice to have at least a bit of a transition before your bring in your bassline... even a reversed crash would help smooth things out. really like the bongo percussion elements. they add a lot to the track. pretty chill track overall. nicely done
yea its a great first dubstep track. you just need to add some faster wobbles in there and realign some of the wobbles which are a tiny bit misaligned from the beat.
ive heard worse... especially from garageband. your wobbles could be worse as well. decent use of the vocals. my advice, get yourself a real DAW and never look back to garageband. in the mean time keep producing and you will get better.
great use of the subbase, your main bass sound is pretty sick overall. i might like some more syncopation in the wobbles but other than that everything soundin good on my skullkandy :-}
Drums are excellent, nice use of vocals, your wobbles are pretty decent. Your right it could use cleaning up in some places. I would love to hear more of a buildup before you drop the first wobble riff, also i think that first wobble riff needs a subbass. Other than that you've got a damn solid track.
FInally something listenable!!! Most of the EDM tracks on this site are total garbage. But dont take the word "listenable" to lightly. Its a very well crafted track. Lots of good transitions, your EQing is spot on, and it has a nice progression/flow. Well done.
pretty sick dude... id love to hear it on my main system back home cause im sure these shitty laptop speakers arnt doin the bass justice. a bit more eqing may be needed on the bells in the beginning... they seem to be getting cut out by your kick.
yea what you have is a great start i agree but it sounds like your kick is super distorted (almost sounds like a gabber kick) and prog house kicks should generally be very booming and smooth. also it needs some buildups and another synth part. good luck with completing this!
