is having us produce a video ad for their newest sports car...
... sorry Douglas but I'm really a musician and am waiting for
a call from someone looking for cinematic scores myself. I
seriously like your track and it would fit a car racing app well.
I hope you get a "real" call soon. >Dwight
The voice fx are a little too much for me.
I'd love to hear this with just a little
fx. I think it might sound even better
done a little slower. lots of potential.
La musica is muy bueno. La mezcla es muy professional.
The great singing makes it more than just a track.
'Over the Moon' is a complete work ready for release.
and I thought I was laid back. After listening to the
track I didn't know if it was 2 minutes long or 2 days.
Very hypnotic.
Let me know if you hear of any cinematic tracks being
picked up, or considered by, a writer, director, or
producer for a major production that they discovered via
LOOPERMAN.
When I improvise musical ideas it is usually when I'm feeling off balance, stressed, and unfocused. Just setting my fingers to the keys and playing chords is usually enough for me to remember the co-ordinates to my home port and bring the helm to bear. If I come up with something interesting during this form of meditation, I'll turn on the recorder to capture the rhythm and melody.
Even when I'm unable to go too far in turning a musical idea into something more, it may well capture the essence of a scene or theme to a movie someone is trying to put together. If there was a place, say like LOOPERMAN, that writers, producers, and directors could peruse to that end. Some of us 'under the radar' nobodies might benefit, and they could save a boatload of $$$ by sometimes avoiding the card carrying high priced song writers. Not to diminish the proven talented song writers such as John Williams or Josh Grobin, but hey, there was a time when nobody knew you they were either.
Good Work, Good Luck, and keep it up. >Dwight Keys

Would you be able to re-record this using less gain?
The distortion makes it most difficult to listen to.
Good luck! Dwight Keys

The technical mixing is at the pro-shop.
It inspires me to work harder to incorporate
more loops in my own stuff.
The great singing frosts the cake and turns
the track into a 'song'
