That's a great track....sounds like a definite radio airplay number if that's what you're after. Can you add a little 12khz sheen to the verse vox - do you think that would sound good?
Hey I think you'll get there - you got a bit of a retro style catchy synth phrase going on there. Did you use a Roland JP8080? In my own opinion I wouldn't pan such heavy sounding synths hard left & right - I would create 2 separate stereo tracks for each synth sound & pan them somewhat prior to sending them to a group channel. Work on your drums a bit too - I always use a compressor on the kick drum (& sometimes snare) & whack the output gain right up! I hope I might've been some help to you. Keep up the good work!
You got some really nice & what I like to call 'thought provoking' synths going on there. I really like the synth stab sound that comes in just after 1 minute - what did you use to get that sound?
Definately a sleek job of sampling here....I reckon you need to EQ the samples a bit better - anyone putting a vocal on this would drown out the sample, especially the female vox. I reckon a slight crackling vinyl sample would do well over the female vox too....enjoyed this!
Ahhhhh.....a nice lazy Sunday afternoon....this is the vibe I'm digging, a bar full of chicks in bikinis on the mediterranean coast. You def got good sequencing skills....keep it up.
It definately has a sunny vibe to it....I would slow it down & give it a chill out vibe & add a few slow vocal samples :-) I think the bass needs sidechained through a compressor to make the beat stand out a bit more.
Agree with babybooth - start REALLY good - was waitin for a vocal comin in plus a big dirty dope beat & synth bass. Pretty creative. Like the ending too, would perhaps make a breakdown out of that also.
thanx for comin thur ...as far as synth bass and crazy beat ...u will definetly have to pay for that. i can only give a preview of that flame before i throw fire but i appreciate the real much love p.s this is an r&b track i kind of wanted to keep it clean and not add so many drums
Real dark...you should get hold of some good reverb plugin like altiverb and fatten up those drums. Don't know if you got my email? Would like to hear what you came up with for the commercial track.
just sent it to u. Thanx its my first real attempt at a track normally i have Cash do a drumline then i rip it up but this was all me. Glad sumone felt the darkness.
Not bad quality - it's a little like too many tracks in one (audio mixing as you say in your profile). Get a hold of Cubase SX and some software synths like Native Instruments stuff along with some sample cds.
Pretty good - especially on the production quality. Didn't like the electric guitar....got on my dinger after a bit.....I would have made thr track shorter at 3.20 to 3.30 mins.
I dig the sampling of the baby's thing whatever it is - Might sound better if you can replicate it so it's in tune a bit better. Coz it's out of tune a little, it sounds more tedios the longer it goeas on. Pretty creative idea you came up with though.
Fantastically evil sounding in a way! Love some of your lyrics ob this track plus Reality Check. I've just uploaded a track that needs a vocal. I'd like to see what you could do with that - it's looking for a more commercial vocal with catchy chorus - it has 2 choruses plus a double-outro chorus. Let me know if you're up for it.
