I like alot of sounds that sound "dreamy" or "trancy" in most of my tracks. For the instruments used for the melodies in this track, i used "Lightspeed" and "Chasse" in the Sytrus sound package. (FL studio 9) I also used "Fruity delay 2" and "Fruity reverb 2" generators to get the sound i wanted. The melodies were tracked out in pianoroll but instead of just using cords, i "plucked" different notes in the cords and let them echo over each other to build the cords. I love that type of sound.
there is a vocal clip in there that i used from someone's acapella. i used a .5 second clip and messed around with it in Edison then added delay and reverb to it in fruity loops. There is a video of Danny Byrd (an awewsome DJ from the UK) that was really cool and gave me some ideas that i used to make this. even if you don't use the program he is using, he shows you how to clip acapellas and alter them.
well its great that you like my Fiord of Hopes and I can tell you it is nothing compare to your Track. I love your voice and yourr style of music. Maybe we should try something together...what you think. Mail me and I will send you a link where you can download my music.
