wild! your art just consistently amazes me, my friend! the lyric is pure rock and roll, and so is your performance. music for big, dark hearts. ace track.
hey Zoots! haha, let’s see what this fucker can do! really cool structure to this, it’s delicious slipping from equipoise to a juxtaposed dimension that brings a whack counterpoint to yr daughter’s well-chosen ambient sounds.
have you seen the movie “a mighty wind” — this had me thinking of the band whose LPs didn’t have a hole in the middle. great stuff, man!
equipoise to juxtaposed dimension....u have a great turn of phrase man, don't know how you do it. yeah, blindwolf, love his voice and music. don't know if you listened to his 'one on one' exposition on distortion pedals - its great.
cool powerpop ballading — the vox/pno nail it, and the builds are really well-done. at times to me the mix gets a little too full, but the purity of the tune isn’t diminished. very nice work!
very elegant, pretty song... i love instrumentals but man this is begging for a vocal to make it really complete... it’s a moving and effective piece nonetheless. well done!
Wow! The shifts in tone are remarkable and what holds it together is that swinging groove — even when it drops out it’s present. That cymbal work is special, man. Damn the whole number has me smitten, i’ll be checking out your other pieces as well. Hope this finds you well as can be, mate!
there is a lot of cool invention happening here! the track has a nice momentum and the end is a very cool deceleration. my only gripe is the drums seem a bit lost in the mix. i would really like to be able to hear them better!
brilliant production. the fastness of the music makes the increasingly urgent vox burrow deeper and deeper into my ears, and the end really achieves a synergy worthy of using the term.
very cool work! the harsh rock is a good counterpoint to the lorn words, giving this a salty, bitter edge. the keys really add push to the song. i think your forceful singing on this sounds great as well, man!
Portuguese rock is not the same as it was decades ago, now young people only listen to Portuguese hip hop and trap, or music with Brazilian and African influences, the Portuguese are very influential, and I think that someone should put rock in the place where it belongs in the top
as i'm 67 years old and i don't have money to invest in my music (recording in studio, and pay to make a good promotional video), that s not my rock who will make rock grow in portugal ... (sorry my bad english), in my youtube channel i have very few feedback as well, thank you xstokes
very cool songwriting— your looping is out of sight. really dig the lyrics and delivery, to me your vox sound great in this setting — nice and deep without going all goth and shit.
Thanks for the feedback, I suffer from breathing problems, and for me it is very difficult to sing ... I never liked my voice, although when I was 8 years old I was the best in the church choir ... I have my music on Youtube, and very rare people comment on my voice ... when you say that my voice is cool, i feel more willing to continue this music project (i am 67 yrs old)Thanks
gorgeous, timeless, the kind of groove that slips under the skin and there’s a natural high and life just sways for a little bit. it’s a gift, pal. if there’s a heaven joey and deedee are singing.
Timeless was how I described the chord changes to someone earlier in the day, you can go back decades and find these chord changes in songs. To me this sounds like a song from the 50's.
fantastic— each sound is so sympathetic to the next, it’s a gentle vibe but had me on the edge of my seat. gotta say i would follow wherever that bass was leading me to! ace work!
well hello again. you’ve been on my mind and this is the sound i heard. i’m so glad you’ve put up one of your piano pieces, and this is just so haunting and enveloping, a rain of tone poems falling on a field of bujori... dreamy and very splendid music!
hello. I don't know if I will stay. Maybe in the minds (of some, not mine for sure).
Music is a dream. No, more reality. Nothing spectacular. What else to say. When I will got time on my hands and PC and mouth to sing and register I will do it. Who knows when. When I will be old, and tired, tired I am already. So I guess I am old. So I guess mic on. OFF
Thank you Xstokes for the time to listen and comment, I did not see myself as an injector of vitality, but I will accept it if it wakes up a tired genre! I really enjoyed putting this one together and appreciate your enjoyment. Bruce
