fantastic— each sound is so sympathetic to the next, it’s a gentle vibe but had me on the edge of my seat. gotta say i would follow wherever that bass was leading me to! ace work!

Music is a dream. No, more reality. Nothing spectacular. What else to say. When I will got time on my hands and PC and mouth to sing and register I will do it. Who knows when. When I will be old, and tired, tired I am already. So I guess I am old. So I guess mic on. OFF

haha, very cool ebb and flow! beautiful electro/prog fusion — the drums and sequencer add a nice bit of solidity to the track while the chiming mallets float on the waves. excellent stuff!

Thanks for your comment. I wasnt sure using an 808 in a spoken word type of track but i kept it very minimal. I am glad you liked that part!

i’m unfamiliar w the original, so maybe you can consider this a blindfold test of sorts. it’s a solid tune, made better by the quality of the playing and careful sound selection. i’m attracted by the fact that while it’s a very polished production, it’s not airbrushed beyond having any personality, in fact i thought it was bursting with personality. enjoyed it very much!

Thanks for the encouragment, Xstokes. I was unfamiliar with the original as well. It really is a great example of really well crafted dance track. I think a great deal of thought and skill went into making it.

The original original, by Massive Attack is pretty unique.

There's another cover version by a group called "Hooverphonic" which I think is amazing. Even more symphonic.
