hmm, so far your tack numbers have been equidistant, and you are puzzling and obscure enough to make crazy people like search for the significance. this is a wonderfully weird kaleidoscope, man. bravo!
well, damn this is good. i love how it comes together so loosely that the suckerpunch vox really come out of nowhere. lovely playing, that fuzz is like boss. don’t clean up your act, whatever you do.
xstokes - thanks for your encouraging and kind comments on the tracks posted so far - it's very much appreciated!
The reason for the non-linear track posting is because these are where I have used a looperman loop, and I want to get permission from the creators before progressing.
However I'm now thinking of putting up the other tracks too.
yea, Maj! that final guitar took me out with it! su-preme stylings, my friend — this takes funk down to the roots. beautiful big spatial mix, too man. this nails it!

the sounds are pure and cohesive. i for one am glad you didn’t go for an overly realistic sax sound, what you’ve produced is damn hooky in my book. vox are way cool. i’m digging it!
bravo, man! superb, widescreen music. clearly thematic developments that encompass striking shifts. orchestration is excellent, man i dig that prepared-piano pulse that carries the track. ace!
pulls out all the stops and then some! i mean jesus!
obsessed and cool as hell.
would not have put it together without the hint, def hear it in the pulse!
Hey Michael - I like the percussive elements that I ended up with in this one - what sounds kind of like cymbals is a free vst clouddrum and an Indian one stringed instrument the Ektara which someone has sampled (free from descent sampler) both playing the same few notes together and then run through the (free) OTT compressor. There is also a vst french horn and a vital synth preset adding texture. Got the modular synths clicking and popping too before finding the sax samples and recording the bird. And then I blended 28% of everything back into the mix at half speed which is an interesting alternative to delay. Not that you asked but thought you might be interested : )
Wow, better than Dune is amazing. Although the genre assignment was once again more than a bad compromise, but they've got no "space dance" in the selection...
Thank you for listening and the nice comment.
