As it so happens I'm a HUGE Dead can Dance fan. The Host Of Seraphim is my fave track on The Serpent's Egg. Song for Sophia is great too & this is a fantastic rendition of it. My hat's off to you sir...
Hi,
and thanks so much, I am so proud to have such a comment.
I think we listen to similar things, and i spent a part of last night listening to your music.
I'll comment it cause it's amazing.
Have a good day.
The loudness is just part of the genre. There is some compression, equalization, and limiting involved to increase the perceived loudness, but it is all mastered to 0dB. Thanks for taking the time to listen and leave a comment.
THe relatively low key kind of feel the instrument tracks have combined with the rapid drum patterns is interesting.Love the noisy breaks. Gives it just a hint of industrial abrasiveness. That's cool. Great work.
Hello clickbaitcabaret, I've been listening to your tracks since I got on Looperman 9 months ago. Life Goes On is a fav of mine. Thanks for your comment on my track

Nice hazy, lazy, smoke some chronic & stare out the window groove. Looks like this track's getting a lot of love too, which is great. This track deserves a lot of love. I've listened to garbage on this site that got tons of love that sucked so bad I could barely believe anyone was interested in it. This on the other hand is actually quite lovely & I rather enjoyed hearing it. I might even download it.Fuck it, I will. Outstanding work Eilijahbcrouch. Simply outstanding.
I initially wanted a slow blues 8 bar rhythm progression but it was too full, didn't sound empty or eerie enough. So I basically dropped most of the rhythm guitar and just played some notes and flavored them up with various effects and some string techniques - slides, bends, pinches, pull-offs etc. I actually tried working in some rockabilly styling ala- Brian Setzer in here. Hes another great guitarist I admire a lot. I guess it does have a slight jazzy feel to it in spots though. Thanks for the comment man, much appreciated.
