lol I thought it was finished at 2:00
the part that came after that was awesome though :)
I like how this track has about 4 "total reboots"
Silence, weird vocals, synth, and it starts over that's pretty original. Big thumbs up on the high and low filters, that was really well done! I also like how it has all the different levels of depth (reverb) in it.
Somehow I get the feeling with this track that you're trying too hard.. lol ??
That the bass and the drums are struggling to keep up whitch each other..
but then again, dubstep isn't really your style so I still think you did a very nice job! AND you've inspired me to do some dubstep as well ;)
haha I fav'd this one for just using hardware!
this house style is way different from mine but still very nice.
I don't use much hardware.. I have a midi controller and a mixer.. lol
I can give you a few tips on the mastering bit.
you'll probably need software for this, but : SIDECHAINING!!
man it's so important in electronic styles. I really use it in EVERY song I make. haha
It could be used on the big synth chords you hear in your song for example. so it kinda ducks underneath de bassdrum (what? lol) so that it all sounds way cooler and better together haha
You probably already knew that didn't you?
haha the 'fly away' vocal came in and after that the reversed cymbal then I really felt I was taking off lol!
then the funky bassline takes it over..
good disco vibes man
the piano and sax the really work as a team y'know
There is nothing wrong with the drums if you ask me...
I love em! Once the organ came in it sounded a bit happier than I expected it to be but still this is an instant fav my friend I love this!
You should send this to some guys on NG cuz this is perfect Flash-game music! :)
Possibly, but newgrounds' community seems to hate me (I can't believe that some of my stuff from 2009 had higher ratings than my stuff now). The organ was fun though.
I saw that I already listened to this track last month...
Why didn't I review it before ? lol
I love how the vibes of the instruments in this track are so different from eachother. It has the 'nervous' breaks, the chill out synths in the back, the rough 303 kinda sound and the happy riff playing throughout the track.
and still everything works together nicely
good work
I think the only thing you can still improve in this track is the ending, it's a bit sudden...
I just saw this track in the featured section..
I love it so much it deserves a second review :)
Actually it's just because I have some questions about the title... lol
Is it, Hug the bear (in order) to sleep.
Hug the bear (so you can finally) sleep ???
Or do you mean Hug the bear to sleep, like in Hug the bear until he sleeps? lol
I love that title man. this song gives me the feeling that I hugged the bear a bit too much and the son-of-a-b*tch killed me and now I'm rising up to the heavens (with this song playing)
Seriously guys I'm love this collab so much that I wish I could fav it multiple times :D
..
lol sorry for writing this stupid review..
The song has already stopped again and I think I should go back to reality now...
hahaha it is all them, actually did not think of the various meaning but most likely, hug the beat in order to sleep is the most likely one i was thinking about. thnx again for the comment
I see ShortBus slowly taking Minor2Go's place...
You can just hear that he's having fun behind the keys at 0:44
What Philo... umm Ojeda is saying could work..
Good luck experimenting with that bro ;)
I also really like the title.. It helps me get rid of my nightmares lol
haha nice my friend!
If your gonna add the wolf howl like 3n0 said, maybe you can also look for some spooky church bells or something ? t
they usually go great together!
Other than that I don't really have any criticism for ya...
I loved the intro man it was really good (just like the rest of the track.. lol)

I have to say this: the awesomeness of really increased per bar after 1:16 or something :P
I liked the part before that and I LOVED the part after that.

on For My Daddy I love U so much by Becca
my new favourite as well
the piano especially is very beautiful
I'm sure your mom loves this :)
one little thing.. :
I think it'd sound better if you make the volume of the gate effect on/low on/low instead of on/off on/off ...
it sounds a bit too disturbing and interrupting if you ask me...
but that's just a tiny little thing and it's a fav anyway!!! :D
on Lonely by Becca
the nice lead synth and the sudden tapestops really help with that.
yup lovin' what you have here so far :)
the acapella fits as well ;)

I like that.
I can also understand what point ImproveWithError is trying to make. The vocals could be mixed a bit better (but yes that's difficult).
I only notice that in the chorus though. The verses are mixed just fine I'd say...
keep it up :)
on Party Seriff by Jolita
I just think the beat needs a little more so it can live up to your voice..
It lacks cymbals and bass if you ask me...
But the vocals are truly amazing!
Imma check out some more of your stuff right now ;)
