Another good one, Oasis. Is that a reverse of the guitar loop at the end? Whatever it is, it adds a nice bit of interest to the song.

thank you...yea, thats just the guitar loop reversed for the break. i do that a lot, actually lol...i should try to limit it a bit more. but i love what hearing something in reverse does to people lol, as odd as that may sound...
cheers for the listen and review!

Damn, girl, you are good! I think the scratches toward the end are a great touch.

Girl, you rock! I really like the slow groove of this song. This is exactly the type of groove (only faster) that I'm attempting to meld with metal. I think the world is ripe for a new genre of music: MetalHop! ;-)

This is an excellent tune. The guitar work is fantastic, the string interlude adds great interest, and the arrangement is superb. You, my friend, are a genius. ;-)

on still breathing (2009) by spacegoat
Nice track, man. Classic death metal riffs, growlin' vox, bangin' drums - surprised that you got such a good mix with a live 8-track recording. Still, it DOES need a bassline though *wink*

Awesome guitar work. I think that the rhythm guitar tends to overpower the drums a bit, but, musically, it's a great blend of styles. Quality stuff, dude.

Great tune, man. The lead work is simple, but highly effective. I especially like the way you go from fast, distorted guitar to slower, clean sound - it breaks up the monotony of a song and keeps things interesting.

Hi SpyderX. Been experimenting with simple lead-work lately.. Its good to see it pays off :)
And its great to hear that you like the transmissions between heavy and clean..!
Thanks for leaving a comment - its always appreciated :)

Sounds awesome to me, dude. I'm relatively new at this game and most of my guitar tracks sound a bit "muddy", but your mix is excellent - everything comes through nice and clear. Your percussion track is great too: somewhat subdued and minimalistic, which works well with your guitar tracks.
