on plague of industry by mcskynard
Sounds pretty good to me, mc. The drums could maybe use a bit of compression, and perhaps you could EQ the various channels to separate the instrument sounds somewhat. The music really adapts to Ray's pella very well. All in all, pretty tight jam, man.

on Wind Blowing My Love Away - Music Only by Smileyz90
Dance, Techno, Rave, etc. isn't really my genre, so I can't give an accurate critique. But I can say this: I think this is an awesome tune! Kinda reminds me of a mix between Ministry and Lords Of Acid. Very nice work indeed, Smiley ~ keep it up!

Freakin' hilarious, Six! Mad Mel's rant is a hoot, and the music goes along with it rather nicely. Good job, dude!

Thanks. Glad everyones getting a good laugh from it. I love a good laugh. Maybe I should have added Christian Bale into the song with his rant too. ha ha

Another great track, mm40. Did a great job with Ray's pella ~ turning it into an industrial metal rant was sheer genius, bro. Good idea with the minimalistic guitars too ~ any more guitar work would have distracted from the vox, IMHO. I think you did it just right!

Oh, and this one gets faved....

Another nice track, dude. Has that classic metal feel to it. Really nice guitar riffs and change-ups. A few vocals and some thumpin' bass would really turn this into a magnum opus.

Thanx a lot dude. Yeah I feel that the bass might be a little bit loudy. Ithnk it is from mixing and arrangment. One day I will find a vocal for my compositions I will never sing (worse than door scratch).

Fantastic job, Bilbo. Symphonic intro kicks butt, and the guitar riffs are excellent (as always). A perfect balance between symphony and metal, dude. Really, great job, man.

I WOULD say that you never cease to amaze me, Brian, but the truth is that I'm at the point where I EXPECT quality music from you. And, once again, you deliver ~ this track has excellent emotive character. A very fine endeavor indeed, my friend.

Yeah, you're right, the volume fluctuations are a bit distracting, but that can be corrected. Otherwise, the composition is fine ~ great guitar riffs and percussion, and the clean guitar in the middle adds some interest to the overall sound. Nice job, majesty.

Sounds like metal to me, bro. The guitars are nice (if a bit loud in spots), and the drum machine rocks. Don't know what kind of software you use, but if you've got a soundfont player there are some awesome freebie acoustic drum SF's. So, if you really don't like the drum machine sound, there are definitely other options. If you want to know more, just contact me ~ I can line you out with just about anything.

Scandinavian metal is my first love in music, so it's a blessing when I hear it done so well. The riffs are awesome, and the chugs are wicked, dude. You may have lost your sounds and presets, but this track is just perfect like it is.

Really good prog metal, Pate. The guitars are excellent, the bass is tight, the drums are crystal clear, and the choir adds a nice ethereal quality. All in all, a truly great job, bro.

I know the instructions say "don't just say nice job when you review", but there's not much else I CAN say. Fantastic use of PianoSound's loops (and HMNN's as well), great mixdown, and superb guitar chops. All in all, one fine tune, bro.

Thanks Spyder.Yea,How many ways can you say it sometimes, and I appreciate it in any form. This was and is my first song created around the loops and I loved doing it,the process was the hard part for me(my son helped)but rewarding. Thanks for the mixdown comment,i'm finding that really is the hardest part, spec at 4 in the am!

Bad-ass tune, man. The guitars kick butt, and the synth adds a nice industrial feel to it. The ending is great, too.

The music is great and the mix is spot-on, but I definitely think it needs some vocals. Maybe you could find a bad-ass female vocalist to throw some "Shamaya-style" vox on it. But, great job nonetheless.

on Easy take by FrenchKid18
Nice understated guitars always sound great to me, so I like this track a lot. The mix is excellent too, though I don't know why you aren't satisfied with the drums ~ I think they go well with the tone of the song, though I probably would have added heavier kick and low snare flams here and there (but that's just my personal taste). All in all, a rather fine job, as is your usual effort.

Good track. The percussion mix sounds a bit "muddy" in places, but the guitar work is excellent. Using the melody to define the piece is a strongpoint. Very nice work, bro.

Very reminiscent of early Metallica. Strong chug, driving beat, fair mix. My only suggestion would be to make the lead not so repetitive, but otherwise a great tune.
