Thanks :) More to come soon(ish). However long a piece of string (aka getting some grasp on mixing and mastering properly) is innit.

on Light - The High by Lightward
The bass frequency ate away keys at the main intro - was this a limiter - I liked the way it developed though dude - introducing the growls was a good move - it had a nice feel once it errupted forward - good job
Lightward
Lightward replied 15th Feb 2012 - 13 years ago
Hey!

Yeah, you got that right. It's a limiter, that SHOULD actually work well. The version I'm listening to is at 320kbps and I have no problems with it. The uploaded one is at 192 kbps, maybe the limiter is too strong for this one. Thanks for your comment, I'ma figure out something.
cheers

on Before The Dawn by killercalamity
really liked the intro - the EQ needs a little less treble in the beginning - q cut down had me reaching the volume - only because I have my music up so damn loud lol... I missed the bass depth on the track I know once this is eq'd and put back out there this will storm the dance floor...good job

good reverb on this dude - enjoyed the direction of the - the phase q level blew the speakers a bit for the four beats may need to tone that cut done a little - this is only imo though...as you do not do this any where else in the track - some really nice fx that bounced around the sound field - good job dude..
