Honestly I think you hould re record the lead part. You messed up quite a few times. I say keep recording till you hit it right. I know it sucks sometimes cause its like freestyle soloing sorta like freestyle rapping. Sometimes you just cant remember what you just ripped. You just gotta listen and play along with what you have recorded till you get it memorized and are able to re record it quality like. Sometimes I find when I do this myself I end up seeing a way to make the lead better.
Yeah this isnt bad at all dude. Reminds me of my old recordings too. LOl sometimes even the new ones. The piano you put in towards the end was way cool. Didnt expect that. Good job man!
Wow,...very nice track. Gotta SRV feel to it. I like this alot. Had to fav it. I noticed in your description that you said you had a studio drummer play on this but it sounds kinda digitaly fabricated but all in all sounds real good man!
Thanks for your nice comment. This track is actually a demo (sample) posted before the album AUTO BLUES goes out by the end of 2009. Therefore, some tracks were recored on purpose as demos including the drums track. The real audio drum track will be inclued with the final version of the song with (hopefully) all other mistakes corrected and I will post it here again so you can hear the difference. Anyway, you have very good perception , man , congratulations ! I'll for sure listen to your material soon and make some rewiev
Ayyy this sounds real good for just starting out. Lol to tell you the truth it sounds better than some of the so called "seasoned" users. Keep up the good work! I love the piano work. I always love good piano.
lol...that was before all the changes came to the loop. we were able to download, review and fav our own tracks...back in 2007..thanks for the review..i know i need to post more stuff.
Lol, Sounds good Donnie. You got me stumped with the origin of the drums. Its driving me crazy please tell me where they came from. I would fail if this was the daily double. We should definatly work on some 8 bit stuff together. That would be cool!
As for the drums, haha, I aint sayin here (remind me to tell you in an email sometime, cool). As for collabin on a game track just lemme know what you were thinking and we'll see what we can do (though I'd prefer to roll one from scratch, ya know, easier that way I think). Glad ya dug it. Later on!
On mixcraft i have a stock of synth instruments and this particular one is called summertime synth, which i liked cuz it was really similar to a typical dre synth. thanks for the review!
Cool cool! Nice track dude! Like the piano work. I noticed alot of piano plugins sound similar/flat. I run into problems with them all the time. I just tweak the hell outta them till they sound halfway decent.
Spounds straight, Id say all you gotta do is get the hang of the mixing and mastering process' You should look up the user named KMY I think you and her would kill a track together, she is pretty dope!
Lol that little laugh in the intro had me laughin with you. You are gettin that autotune down dude! Kudos man. You got my vote. Id like to produce your vox for you. I could show you how good you could really sound. You lyrics are straight already and now you are singing too. Good shit man, I see you growing more on every track!.....(Edited review) Wow dude 140 something plays in like 10 min? Lol Did you do that yourself?
Hey Coney \o
Thanks for a totally awesome review!
You are using big words here, but I dont quite agree with you. There's better metal-artists on the site than me, but I really, really appreciate this comment - thanks again mate, and have a nice day :)
Ayyy man this is tight! Kill guitar sample in there. The drum rolls were tight too. Good stuff! Had to fav it! Man can I get a copy of this? I could really use it for an up coming project.
Hey man, I dont really care for linkin Park but damn dude you do sing pretty damn good. Did you re-record the piano yourself? If so kudos on that too. Id say your singing is good but the mix is kinda rough. I foyu ever wanna collab let me know. Do you write your own stuff also? Man I would think it would be cool to get you on a track. Good job!
Yes sir I wrote all of my other songs, except for the obvious cover songs. Yea I didn't have enought time to devote to this track as far as mastering it and stuff so it came out a bit distorted on some parts. Thanx bro I would love to do a collab. Just hit me up some time and I'm down for it.
You know what, thats what it reminded me of ... I've been trying to think of the name of the group this whole time, since I uploaded this track ... I had their style in my head but couldn't spit out the damn name ... damn, what a serious brain fart.
Wow. Thanks for the review man. J DOT ~ 2006
Lol did you know there is a MMA fighter named Mike Hunt. Lol his parents must of hated him from the start. But anyways man this track sounds real quality. You on the guitar? Noticed you are from Tuscon. I lived in Mesa for a while. I loved it out there. A little crazy but man the scenery is awesome. Im stuck staring at walls of corn nowadays. It sux.
LOl yeah I love Static - X def sounds like them. Wisconsin Death Trip is a fav of mine for sure. The whole cd was awesome. Brings back memories of that one song where dude was talking about her shits like chocolate cake and her ass smells like a rose.Lol After that they kinda went downhill. (only a couple good songs on a whole cd nowadays) The chorus part or whatever you wanna call it that you put together is way cool. I like the way you cut this up. Almost sounds like it was recorded this way originally. Great job man! Had to fav it!
In the 2 ...0...and another 0....and throw a 9 up in there. Lol Yeah man the whole track was cool. Yeah you stubled a little on the real fast parts but that was easily overlooked when hearing the other stuff. To be quite honest with you I gave you the best scores.
lol, thats how you do it.
yeah, i dont really mind leaving it like that either. lol
I love to improv on my music. it keeps it fresh and from the realness
Sounds good man! Cant wait to hear it finished and all mixed down. Hands down the best flows on this track yet and ive had many different versions come and go.
