Yeah,...I must be diggin this. Had to come for another listen! Good stuff man! I love the feel of it! Sounds like something I would do myself. The breakdown was totaly unexpected yet perfectly placed. If that makes sense. In any event,...great job dude!
Nice this is dope. I wish the vocals were louder. Lol you crack me up with the lyrics. "Ill punch you in the tummy" lol hell yeah. Im feel the lyrics! Prolly your best track! jdot is a beast on this beat! Easily faved!
I agree, with this being my best track. JDOT delivered this nasty beat to me so I had to give it my all to match the intensity. I think I achieved that. Up the vox hu? Cool, thanks for the feedback and the fav.
Shht goes hard man! I like that high pitch synth! tyhe crazy knocks all over the place are a pretty nice touch. I could see this being played by them dudes that play on buckets and what not all badass on the streets. With a evil orchestra too of course. lol Nice track I dig it!
glad ya liked it cuz thats the exact feel i went for the good ole raw straight to the point hard hittin feel so thanks for the review it mucho appreciated respect
Dude your production sounds soooo clean. I use alotta the high mid range synth myself and noticed it tends to get sorta muddy. You tore it up on the mix! Good stuff! Dance really aint my bag but I can dig this!
You know I can totally hear somebody rapping to this in my head, like very cool. If you have anything on the burner, keep this in mind. I know you're doing a few cool things right about now... With this, I feel there could be like that futuristical kw flavor. If that makes sense.
Haha, crazy in a cool way. reminds me of this band called HelloGoodbye. If you havent heard them check em out. Kudos to you on the cool track. Kinda got and 8 bit feel to it.
Listening to em now! they're like from within an hours drive of me, and touring all right now. i am going to try and check em out if I can. diggin em. Thanks for the kudos bro.
About the 8 bit, I did learn music theory from Nintendo (that's like 47% true), so yeh. :) Cheers.
Nice track. I think the guitars for the most part are pretty simple. Well placed but pretty run of the mill for that style. The soloing was cool and by far the highlight of the guitar playing. What really stuck out to me was the vocals, the sound quality (got that true 80's sound) and the overall structure. Kudos to you guys! Hopefully you dont take this as me being some kinda jerk!
Jerk?? Not at all. I totally respect your opinion....especially after that tune you wrote with my loops, pure genious. I programmed every single note (Ensoniq EPS)on the Drums, Bass and Acoustic guitar around 1990, and then a couple of friends did the guitar and vocal track as a birthday present to me in 1994. Troy did the electric guitar track in all one take, one track.(as he usually could!)and doesn't Jimi have a great voice? Considering this was done on an old Tascam 246 Cassette Recorder 4 trak, in my living room, I'm pretty proud of this one.
I plan on sending you some stuff to collab with soon. Do you have Reason 4???
Nice! I like me some industrial. Kinda like electronic meets rock. Im a rock rooted dude myself experimenting with hip hop and electronic type shht so I can def dig this. Sounds good to me! Kudos to you dude!
Yeah pretty cool track. Ive been messin around with stuff like this myself lately. Great feel to this. Like Truth said I could kinda hear this as a rnb track.
Nice! I dig this alot. From the start you had me hooked with this. Staedily listening to see how its going to evolve. Nice track my man! Had to fav it!
Nice! Sounds much much better. I love the guitars in this. Ive listened to this so much I know it like I know my fav songs. So Im going to fav it! Great stuff man! Did you play the drums yourself? If so hella props dude you are an all around talented dude!
oh yeah man. kinda helped out. i'm already trained in music, like notes, beats, stuff like that. i know most everything about making music, but i'd rather play the actual instruments than use midi software. that's why my tracks ain't got a lot of vibe to them. but yeah i always enjoy tutorials.
Sounds good I do agree with you about the snare. Kinda sounds thin to me. Mabey try layering a another snare with this one or mabey a nice clap that matches. Throw a slight amout of reverb to give it a fuller effect. Try a little chorus as well. I guess its just experimenting till you get what you want.
thanks bro i took all my chops from the isley brothers on this one i think, glad u liked it apreciate the reviews man, stay up, ima get at u soon bout that track...
