Prince vocs would set this off.It is like a track from the vault he kept

Its probably the lack of chords the lead is hangin there with no harmony to define it.I just noticed the whole track has no chords.maybe that's why it seems the freq range is not covered.Good solid mix with the loudness I just think you could have a bit more harmony.Try another lead in 3rds turned down with the same sound layered.

Good lead man but blows out the other instrumentation
take it back a bit at the 1 min mark if you had a moving sub would fill the gap after you turn the lead down if it sounds
empty.

Well I tried to lay it down thick so the gap between that lead and the drop wouldn't be so harsh.

But the only instrumentation going on there is that lead and the drums and I hear the drums pretty clear through speakers and headphones so that is weird ;d

What audio device did you use to play this back, maybe I can fix it then

glad you like it and it was my first actually dark ambient track made with fl studio 8 or 9 i dont really remember also the samples are from looperman except the piano melody ^^ and lost flp file project!!

Yup, unfortunately I messed up the equaliser for the drums by increasing the low end frequencies too much (I hadn't used GarageBand in a looooong time). Spot on with the remix though, thats the kind of sound I aim for in my drums now.

Turn the compressor down it squashes the mix when it kicks in if there is no compression turn the drums up. other than that good dark feel expression.

Like this one too but Maybe chill on the panning of the bell.Or slow the panning.I think that melody would shine more with a stereo separation to keep it wide an take of the panning.
