mudhoen, yep you took a holiday classic melody and then proceeded to own it. I enjoyed the listen but what got me was that bass in the cut :)! Then you went all the way in @ the 1:00 mark! Thanks for putting the holiday smile on my face.

zootman2u, I hear the extra work you've put in. Don't you worry anything about mixing with those headphones. You got the job done and done well. Drums punchy vocals strong. This balanced mix made this song a great listen.
M.T.
Hi there, thanks very much. I did try a bit more production on this one with some compression on drums and vox and some saturation. I sometimes find it hard to hear the effects of the compression but I think I'm training my ear to it a little now.
zipbass, I throughly enjoyed this listen. Everything is balanced well with nice transitions. The sax is the crowning element in this masterful composition.
M.T.
AtticElla, your collaboration with doofus in my opinion should continue. The musical chemistry is obvious. The overall mix is pristine and this should be playing in the clubs! I throughly enjoyed this listen. Thank you for sharing.

Estar a salvo siempre. M.T.
Paz y salud.
MichaelMayo, ok this is nothing but a full plethora of delightfullness! And an excellent song to bring 2022 in correctly. Impressive to say the least. Great work Michael. Peace.

AtticElla,Hey. I like what you've done and for me, you make the lo-fi house vibe interesting. I'm originally from the Chicago area where I first got exposed to house with Farley Jackmaster Funk and the spin you put on it takes me back. But with a European flavor. Keep that creativity flowing. Another classy composition from you. Stay Safe :)
M.T.
T576, yep you’re in it. Love the percussive vibe. The guitar work is stellar. Synths gives a light and delightful atmospheric feel to the mix. Another awesome composition T576!
M.T.
77, Thank you for the listen and comment, but I got to say the reply you gave me on Slinky SKINT me. I'm still laughing. appreciate the Onesty and yep Slinky definitely was pay back. I'M coming for some more pay back. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Wayne, yep! Ok the highlights for me happened at 0:41 where you really dug in! 1:08 and the 1:32 groove! You got me with this! This made my day! Thanks for sharing.
M.T.
AtticElla, ok so you know you nailed this right? This is so chill I had to put my parka on! Everything from the vocals to the drums and the synth’s to that chill but fire bass line you simply Nailed this. Any DJ would be happy to have this in the lineup. Again another pleasurable track from and by you.
M.T.
doofus, ok so you've done a great job here. You created a perfect setting for the vocals and I can tell you were having a true blast! The instrumentation is full on point. I really enjoyed this listen. Great drum work as well with fire chord progressions. Peace.
M.T.
Thanks so much for the kind words, but seriously man, I mean, I'm listening to your stuff, just shake my head, now that's some amazing stuff! So I say, stop listening to my stuff and get back to what you do! But thanks, much appreciated!
Thank you King, that part through the flourish at about 1:44 is my favorite part of the track for sure! Every time I hear it I'm like yup I think the track was worth it lol
T576, ok so I hear the upright bass. Smooth jazz at its finest. Guitar is phenomenal. The whole composition made my evening. Thank you for such a great listen.
M.T.
AtticElla, again a nice listen. The intro put me in mind of Kraftwerk's Trans Europe Express. Also, you have a great knack for keeping the continuity throughout the mix. I'm interested to know what else are you hiding in the archive? :)
M.T.
Well, a bit of advice. BACK UP YOUR HARD DRIVES! A few years ago, I lost about 10 years of material in one horrible moment. It was a good thing I had my finished tunes and sample library backed up. But I still lost a lot of unfinished, potential material and ideas. I cried.
Didn't take me long to clog up my hard drives once more, but as you know, it takes time. Thankfully I'm back to normal now.
T576, this was a superb listen. What I hear is that you have the ability to take what moves you and translate that into music. If I'm wrong then I'll stand corrected. Clean mix that is Watercolors worthy. Great job done very well.
M.T.
Thank you 77, you are correct. I'm an old school writer. If I don't feel it, I can't write it. It has to feel like what I say it is. You are a fusion man you get it. Thank you for stopping by. PEACE. T576 OUT.
bringer, so this is proof there's really no bottom to the creative well you draw your ideas from. An interesting listen for me from the perspective of dynamics. The highs are astronomical and the lows are the Mariana Trench! Once again imaginative and clever since dubstep is not your first choice!
M.T.
Thanks really to the loops on this site (about 30 or so). Just search "drum" or "bass" as the keyword and "dubstep" as the genre. Tune, stretch, manipulate, chop, layer. I use my ear for key.
The mixing looks like a circulatory system, each capillary a loop chunk with its own fx chain (but really pretty systematic), each major intersection (bus) with its own FX chain, and multiband compression/saturation and chained compression on the master.
I've been experimenting with multiband compression and cabinet emulation quite a bit. My next two tracks (already done) will be long but very pleasant journeys (lofi/ambient influenced, with a hint of modern industrial); the antithesis of this.
thanks for the listen and comment, rather than worry about whether or not I am in my "comfort zone," I'm removing the concept from my mind altogether :D
T576, yep had to disinfect my headphones cause of the raw funk. Throughly enjoyed this listen. You’ve got all of my favorite elements in the mix. Thank you kindly for sharing this gold.
M.T.
AtticElla, on a roll huh? I've said it before and now again, your compositions are on point. This is nice, very nice. It reminds me of Swing Out Sister! Also, I like the musical direction you're going and flowing!
M.T.
Yeah lol, sorry M.T.. I've been meaning to pace myself but I literally got nothing better to do at the moment. Listening so much good music here in LM gets me inspired as well. I'm going to take a break now and let things marinade here for a bit.
Swing Out Sister! So many memories. That is awesome you think so.
Thanks again for another lovely comment of encouragement.
