This is a really good collab! Some nice talent represented here! Really good instrumental! Great vocals, they have so much feeling! I really like the guitar leads! Nice work on this to all of you!

Thanks so much for your review!
we're so glad you like it, and yes, it was hard to keep the emotion from overtaking me when I was singing it, lol!
I'm really lucky to be able to work with such talent as JoyfulWAVE & Zappo, especially since I knew nothing about the track till I was given it as a birthday gift! :D
Thanks again!
Marie :D

on Love The Way You Move by LuieBeatz

While this is a very cool track... I don't know what makes you think that this is disco? I would think it's more like grime or dubstep or just plain electronic. Just a thought.

on are you ready by AbelDjay

This is a cool song! I like the high hats and cymbals a lot! That droning synth is nice too! Good use of the electronic vocals! Fun stuff!

on Rawr dub by Zelab

This has a lot of potential! Those wobbles are really cool and creative! The beats could use some more power though, like maybe just be raised in the mix, or maybe put them through a compressor or something. Nice track so far though!

Zelab replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

I really like the sounds you chose to use in this song! They all add up to a very uplifting mix! You must be really good at mixing and mastering to get your songs to sound this good at 64 kbps! Great work my friend!

Yeah, this sounds good! Nice subtle use of the backup singers! This sounds radio ready to me! Great work!

SLAPJOHNSON replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Hi Spiv, great point you brought to the table. I sometimes get too wrapped up in the instruments and forget how important the vocal production should be... I still have a bit of work on this one yet me thinks...

Cheers, Slap...

Nice use of loops to build up the mix! I like the drum rolls and fills that you made, they're quite cool! Very nice minimal track, I dig it! Sorry I couldn't leave you a review yesterday!

on Be with you Saxobones by SLAPJOHNSON

Great intro! The guitar stands out as being really special on this track! Those horns are groovy too! The vocals sound excellent, and I think some female backup vocals would be awesome! I can't find anything to criticize about this song. It rules!

SLAPJOHNSON replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Hi Spiv, the sax on the intro will be changed to Alexander at some point soon. I'm glad you like the guitar! I have a real passion for this instrument and love playing it. I can get pretty frustrated when I can hear what I want to play in my head but my technical abilities on guitar fail me! This female backing vocal issue has been mentioned twice now. I think I need to look into adding these but the operation is quite lengthy lol... Thank you for your honest supportive review.
Cheers, Slap...
