PS, ohh seeing as your also Aussie, i bet you listen to 'mix-up' on triple j on Saturday night. if not you definately should, there is heaps of electro tunes flying about, it sounds quite similar to some of your house tunes!!!!
Haha, yes I listen to Triple J on the weekends, along with Triple R, Nova- Overdrive and Ministry of Sound Sessions on Fox FM.
Triple R & J are great cos' they play alternative electro, as well as some minimal stuff. It's great. I alternate through all 4 station till like 4am

Thanks for listening to my 'Canadian Pride' tune. The other tune I mentioned to you, you'll like even more :-).
Not that I am trying to get you to play it, just that it is pretty good from what I am hearing from all the other reviews, and near your type of music.
Occassionly I just do some loop based material to give my fingers a rest from playing guitar.
Putting loops together is like a puzzle before you, and you decide on how to construct it.
In fact, there are actual constructions kits you can buy that have all the instruments in it including drums. So then you have all the tools at your disposal and you can make something out of many loop segments.
Once you have all the loops in order you want to have in your tune, then you have to do 'micro surgery' and place the loop into the track so that it fits seemlesly, or someone will notice the ins and outs, clicks and pops, etc.
Clicks and pops can be smoothed out by using the pencil tool from the software, and the track zoomed in all the way.
So that is the trick actually.

I am glad you liked it. I enjoy working with loops sometimes as it gives your fingers a break from playing all the instruments on your own song.
I'll recommend another for you.....try 'Canadian Pride', you'll like that one too probably as it has that 'big sound' and an great guitar ending It is just a little over a minute, so not a long tune.
