I'm trying to figure out how one would work vocals into this...
I'm looking sideways, into the abyss, trying to [find] a way.
Ya know, some things should not be tampered with...buuuuuuuut...
I don't know any better. Lol
My crazy brain is like....there's no where to jump in there...and i'm like...look sideways...you don't see ANYTHING??? LOLOL
I enjoyed this very much!!! :-)
Well, it's more up to the singer where the space is. I can make a backing track if you want (I made this one this afternoon) then you can sing whatever you want and I will fill in the rest, up to you.
Very nice.
It's soft, rough, and sensual...like sweet, sour and tangy. Haha
I like it! Her voice draws you in...don't fall asleep.
Kuddos to everyone!! :-)
Hello Patricia, i really love your vocals a lot, you are a really great singer! I was wondering, what do you mean by non commercial use, I mean, I don't make music just to earn money but because I love making music, the thing is, if we would make a song together and it would go sky high, which is not impossible I think, I would not mind that and It has happenned to me before, would that be a problem? I have always shared everything 50/50
SO SWEET ....YA THATS ME SINGING....I HAD THE SONG ...WENT TO GET SOME BEER AND HEARD MAYERS SONG N THREW IT IN FOR FUN....DONT KNOW IT WELL ENOUGH TO SING THE VERSES...YOU KNOW IT.....YES THE SIMPLICITY IS KEY....I THINK I HAD SOME OTHER PARTS BUT WENT FOR THE MINIMAL....SPOT ON OBSERVATION...CHEERS
This made me feel disorganized a bit.
I struggled to find the "groove" for a bit.
It kept me off kilter.
Then it kind of settled in and started making sense.
It's a sort of organized chaos.
I guess what I'm saying is, good job! :-)
It kind of has a funk flare to it. :-)
It's happy.
It definitely needs something different to break things up.
Maybe do a part with just the muzic,
to let the vocals breathe for a bit.
Maybe a part with just the drums and guitar or other instrument.
Maybe on the end just do the "hey heys".
Just suggestions.
Keep going! :-)
Tempo is 97 bpm. Kind of funny to have it such an odd number. But I've found that, sometimes, just 1 or 2 bpm makes a big difference in the feel of the track and how the groove works. I'm kind of surprised by that.
I know I don't get here as much anymore,
but it seems I should have heard this one.
It has such an "older" feel of a sitcom I can't think of right now.
Love it!!!!! :-)
Don't be so hard on your voice,
you are the best translator of what's inside your head for it. :-)
Nice to hear from you! You could be right. Maybe I unknowingly re-created the theme from some sitcom from the 70's or 80's. That bell melody line that comes in at bar 9 might be the culprit! :)
I have a really bad memory for some things like that. I once used an online plargism checking service to see whether some stuff I had written for my consulting work was actually lifted from some previously published source. Sure enough, what I had written matched something published, word for word. The problem was, I had written the original stuff and had totally forgotten about it! So, I could be copying something I heard years ago when I used to watch sitcoms. :)
Anyway, I will take your advice on no being so hard on my voice. But, the reality for this track is that in my head, the voice I hear is a fine, smooth, R&B vocalist who knows how to deliver a ballad. I just can't figure out what the lyrics should be about.
Love your voice.
I think the vocals can be brought forth a little on your verses,
it's kind of in the back a bit.
I'm no expert or anything,
but being that your voice is "bassy",
it is blending in with the bass in the muzic. Love the melody!!!
Hi patricia i would love to hear some adlibs fromu !
did u ever get that zip file full of remixes i did with your voice? i just recently did a remix with one of your latest acapellas i will upload here (:
I'm not very familiar with dnb but this is massive!
This could easily be on a video game, or one of those dance/exercise game thingees. Something high energy. Love it! :-)
Before hitting play...[rests head in hand]
After hitting play...[head stands on it own]
While listening...[shoulders move]
Haha that kick is dangerous! :-)
Love the guitar!!
Some variation in the muzic would give it even more flair,
but its fine as is. Cool diddy!!! :-)
I love the HUGE sound.
This makes me want to dance around the room!
And the fact that I have ZERO idea what's saying is even better.
I'm glad I hit play on this one.
This is great, it's just too short. :-)
Very nice.
Mellow.
Just how I'm feeling today.
Love the old school vibe,
it kind of reminds me of the theme song from "Welcome Back".
Your voice sounds like him.
Great listen. :-)
