Yes, the guitar solo in the left ear, that's my good ear hehe. Very nice simple piece of work, I think it almost relaxed me into sleep mode haha. I really enjoyed it, almost has a jazz feel to it.

I've been sitting here for 3 mins looking for something to light up, but I'd probably be out of a home if I lit anything here LOL. Other than that I got nothin to light up...however, my eyes did light up when I hit play.

I never really got the "chill" genre, other than [duh] its something to chill out to, sounds a little loopy and spacey and if it's anything like I've heard when people light up, it's perfect!!! This one's so sa-lo-oo-ow mo-oo-ot-ion hehe. If I had one lit up I probably would only chuckle at that, but I don't smoke, so....I'm laughing.

Free, I really like this! It's so laid back. Still amazing to me how one can listen to a whole song, all the while only extracting a certain part to make another whole song. Glad you could use the pella!! Lets get together again :-)

Other than that it really is a rockin tune, the muzic has a nice upbeat-ness (haha) to it and even though the song content is sad I felt like dancing!

3 mins later...well, I still don't know about the elements of what makes house house...but this is very live for me. And the vocals keep it live and interesting IMO. Very danceable!

I think this is a really good start for a song. Lemme guess, you used to sing in one of those quartets, or groups, and for whatever reason you don't anymore? Always seems to work out that way, sometimes "church folk" are the worse haha.

Here's what else I think, you have the potential to write some very nice stuff, your voice is clean and clear and you have good harmonies for this type of muzic! So, what the heck are you waiting for? Don't make me curse again LOLOL.

How dare someone tell you what to write about!!!!! They aren't paying you to write so if they don't want to hear sad or depressing lyrics they shouldn't listen to your muzic. Course that could be a downside should it be important to you what people think, however, you can't please everyone! You'll be someone different minute to minute if you try to.

I'll share something with you though, about 10 years ago I was 10 years younger (duh lol) but my life was pretty negative for me so a lot of my lyrics more often than not reflected what was going on in my life, and if you listen to the stuff I've posted here you'll notice it's mostly negative. These days I have a different outlook, if I can't do anything about it then so be it. So I tend to write more positive songs and motivational songs and love songs cuz that's my main focus now. Sometimes the things that come out of us is just what's in us, and quite frankly some of it NEEDS to come out, looperhug!!!!!! I'm not counselor, just love sharing.

Anyway, I like that you write about "people" haha, maybe one day I'll write about Wayne, or Jack, or Abby, whoever they are :-) For me it brings things to a more realistic and human plane.

Now that I've taken up all this comment space and listened to the song twice, I should wrap it up and just good job!!!!! I LOVE GUITAR!!!!

I can't be sure, but the muzic and vocals may be in different keys. And the vocals are louder (tell those guys to quiet down) so I can't really tell.

Aside from the quality of the vocal recording I think this sounds good. The muzic sounds ok, but I'm not into the technical end of that. The singing part/hook is a bit too far away would be the real critique here. Aside from all that I can feel your emotion. Good job.
