I would like to hear something happen to the vocals though, seems they are competiting with the muzic and it's a little hard to understand what she's saying.
Patricia, your comments are always so enthusiastic,i love that!
It seems that you understood the song exactly how it see it too.You even got that smoky ambiance thing in the " solo".
Yeah, the middle "solo" part has a certain ambiance for sure. I had this idea of really bass-heavy new-jazz band jamming on stage and the guitarist is playing with minimal touch, cool as a cucumber, lol.
And from that middle part, your beautiful voice sends us for a grande finale! During that final chorus, you just distance yourself from the mic like a great singer diva, heheh. That´s why your voice fades in the end.
The band takes over the song and stop on a dime while the DJ inserts some random noise to remind the audience that music is supposed to challenge the listener also.
GOD bless you,Patricia.Your comments are always awesome like you are too.
Hi Patricia. I'm so glad you stopped by to have listen and a positive critique from you is an honor. My daughter is doing much better and I hope to see her on her own before too long which says a lot from self confinement in her room. Not sure the song helped her as much as it helped me. Funny how that works. A warm thanks and a smile.
Can't say there's been much jazz here lately, very classy work. Relaxing, workable in so many ways, commercials, elevator, easy listening, at work (lol) very versatile.
This is the part of the program where they tell everybody to get on their feet and clap their hands, when the mothers put their babies down, somebody else grabs a tambourine, the "seasoned" saints get to tappin their feet, and lawd have mercy the pastor get up from his seat.
Your description: wow! If you don't take pride in your work how can you expect anyone else to? Looperhugz n smiles!
Sure the quality of the recording could be better, but its fine for the "jam out session" effect! I like the song itself, I can picture one of those Shoog Avery scenes from The Color Purple, ya know one of the joog joint dances.

I really love the beat, hot! I think it has some hip hop/rnb elements to it, but I can also hear the dubstep elements as well.
