i like this. my advice is once you make your music and master. burn it on cd. then go play it in car if it sounds like what it did on your instrument or how you wanted it to then cool... but most times the car audition is a good trick to hearing sounds that are too loud or too low. overall I like it. it has some inspiration in it.
I see you took my advice and ran with it. You see how hip hop can "vary." Now you making hip hop tracks. Something else conquered. Where's the final cut?
What can I say..... I'm to say you can really do the DnB b/c at the tempo you go it would get on my nerves to try and figure out how to make that sound. Man I like this I like how you put an effect on the gun sound where it's going thru the music smoothly. Nice.
I know I'm behind when it comes to reviewing this track. 1st I can't say it's not intriguing because it's very intriguing. Hip hop is freedom of expression so be creative. But if you want it to feel more like a hip hop track (rule: boom tap)follow that rule but "vary" as much as possible. What I mean is use as many different sounds (drum) as you would like that kind of sound like boom tap. Sorry but hip hop has that simple format no matter what anyone say. For the best example listen to dr dre music and listen to the drums it's your basic boom tap. But to understand the different possibilities of the boom tap listen to Timbaland. He is always very creative. Oh listen to other genres of music like latin, african, and indian etc. It all has it's own rhythm but you can apply the basic boom tap to it. Check out my drum loops to get a general idea.
