This guitar you play here is very nice. I get impressions of calm landscapes and beautiful skies. So smooth and chillin' - well done!

on Genghis Khan by ClickbaitCabaret
Hallo Herr Clickbaitcabaret, as far as I know you are the only one who mixes ambient with rap and Khoomei. And that in a way that works very well. Very creative and extraordinary. What a trip!
Hats off and Cheeeeers,
Michael

I admire bands such as Portishead, Gorillaz & NIN for putting together different genres that one would thing wouldn't work well together, yet they manage to pull it off. Thank you for listening in. I duly appreciate it.

on DubJoka-Katherine Ellis Gimmie Sunshine by dubjoka
Wow dubjoka, good work. This is so hypnotic - the trombones give me the feeling of some procession (in this case obviously not to a funeral). It remains in the ears for a long time, so - well done, congratulations.

on Picture by DijamMusic
Hey Dijam,

I do sessions with some friends from time to time just like you did here. We record it all to have fun afterwards and in many cases it sounds exactly like that here. So we all could easily get together, jam and it would definetely turn out nice. I would really like to visit Britain again, I had such a wonderful time down in Kent back in the day
Man, where would we be without music ...
(Sorry, if I got a bit melancholic here - I am usually more the very funny kind)!
Best regards,
Michael

Hi Dr Klinger,
Thank you for your positive comment.
I am always searching for someone who sings or raps so that i can mix their work with my beats.
Even though I don't understand German, I loved the flow of the singer/rapper and the texture of voice.
I am happy that you liked the track too. Please watch out for my future work.

Best regards,
Kourosh

on Ghatanothoa by Stereonomicon
Again I enjoyed listening to a track of yours. I love the whole sound and the stereo effects. It is calm and somehow threatening at the same time in a pleasant way. You sure know your stuff well.
Here is a link to a track of this friend of mine I told you about (Thomas Fanger, berlin school), maybe you'll like it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmVZ0ZvRXYo
By the way - I did the cover design for his album with this track.

Hope to hear from you soon,
stay well

Dear Friend, thank you very much for your review, I really appreciated it. And thanks also for the link on Youtube, this is a very suggestive song, similar in some respects to some of the first works of the Tangerine Dream, there is an imprint of the great Krautrock school. I really like to see some of your drawings, I have a past as an illustrator and cartoonist, so I really appreciate these things. Best wishes and see you soon

on Henry Pascal feat Junior Paes - I dont need you by HenryPascal
I listened to this from the first to the last note and I really enjoyed it. It's a great arrangement, a wonderful beat and it sounds just great. Listening to your works it gets clearer to me I have to get deeper into the function of compression, equalizing etc.
And thanks again for your helpful advice ...
Best regards,
Michael

I'm glad I helped you, I too was in a hurry to let my songs be listened without taking care of the technical part. Even if I haven't learned many things yet, the results are already visible. I am sure that you too will improve a lot on this aspect from now on.

on Trapped by Murdabeat
Hi Murdabeat,
maybe you will take me for completely nuts, but you've asked for ideas. Well, I hear gregorian choir in the background and a very cool FEMALE word in the front. A contradiction. But this is very cool and soothing as it is, too.

Michael

on CXRTER - South Flowers Instrumental by swansea
Hey Swansea,
I love this track for it is soooo relaxed. You know how to create a good flow and a chillin atmo. It reminded me of listening to Clutchy Hopkins (do you know him?) before I ever heard something about Lo-Fi. You did a good job here.
Cheers,
Michael

Listening to this make my fingers itch because I wanna turn some controls. But just so because of the good potential this one has. It's quite minimal but very catchy – actually not easy to achieve. So, compliments and keep on,

Oh wow, thank you Michael so much for your comment, I am really glad I uploaded the track now so people can enjoy it. The sounds from that song came from the Nexus 2 synth I believe and I remember writing those riffs/patterns in loop mode adding notes at a time to build it up.
Regards NUraver ( my real band name)

on Lazy Day Return by Orlando51
Hi Orlando,
well, if that didn't deserve to be labelled as "chillout" I don't know what does then! Great! Did you play the guitars? They sound fantastic. And when those flawless violins come in that's the icing on the cake. Perfect for strange days like these, when we all have to hide in our four walls and need some soothing sounds.
Thank you and keep well,
Michael

Thank you most kindly Michael...really appreciate your positive feedback. Some guitar parts are played by me and some by Ed Cunningham known as Tumbleweed on this site. We did many collabs and I hope there will be more...:)

on Today will never come again by avasuzanne
Hey Eva, first of all: this is a wonderful song which had a very soothing effect on me while listening. Your voice is beautiful and you're using it very clever, especially in the background choir parts. AND: I love the fact that you are a woman, because they are the minority here, which I personally regret! Please keep serving us with your musical creations – I'm looking forward to it!
Best regards and houd je gezondheid,
Michael

I never quite understood that either. 2 years later, here we are. sometimes people are slow to catch up with my music, and thats ok. this song was really my first go at lofi, the vocals are a bit muffled. its been much improved over the past few years, lol. i actually have a whole lofi album ready to go. i appreciate you taking the time and listening, and leaving those kind words. many blessings DrKlinger.
