Well i'm alwayq up to participate/collaborate but my soundcard just burnt early last week. i'm waiting for a new one hope to have it soon... so i can't do so much music lately
Thanks again. This is the super helpful type of insight I was hoping to get here, so thanks for that. Let me know if you ever need another set of ears on anything.
I think you asked if I was English. I'm 50% British, although I was born and raised in the Sates, my mother is originally from England and has since moved back. I've been many ties and really enjoy the Lake District...and all those great sweets, and Marmite too! :)
to me 0.19 to 0.26 the phenomenal bit is a little late to my ears. i don't know what daw do you use but with cubase (which i use) each track got that a delay fonction and you can fix the timing of the track.
Thank you so much for the feedback. I think you were right. I tried to fix it but I may have wound up making more of a mess. I need to take a break at this point, but here is the most current version if you have time, see if this is any better. Thanks mate!
Cool track mate
i listened from A to Z but if you allow me I am a little annoyed by some voice placement that I find a little too laaaaiiddddback which gives me impression that it is a little too behind the beat
But that may just me or my opinion
Thanks for listening and for the feedback. I think I spent more time focused on the instrumentation than I did on the vocals. So it's highly possible you are hearing some behind the beat stuff. I'm wondering if you could specify just one point in the track so I can hear exactly what you mean though? Thanks again!
Hi Indieground!
One day, when I was trying to do some things in my microkorg, my niece said: wow it looks like a flying saucer hahahah, so that gave birth to this song
Thanks for having a listen and for commenting, again, much appreciated. I'm almost 50 so yeah I guess late 90's was big audio time in my life ha! Also, I found this link with every genre of music with an example. It's really cool. http://everynoise.com/engenremap.html
that's an interesting melting pot i must say
for my part I find that it lacks a bass. I cannot say what kind of bass by cons.
but this song has potential!
This song is not yet ripe in my head ... as soon as I'm sure how it will be released I would like to open a project for her remixes, I think it can give a good material.
Just have a listen from A to Z to your track mate. All those vocals are really really great !
as i had read afrobeat i was not really expecting this kind of song but i was rather pleasantly surprised.
There is an "Iko Iko" track vibe which is a good thing if you know what I mean ?
Ok I just listened a second time and again the voices are excellent.
Hello Indieground!
In the first, I like to thank you so much for listening mys tracks. I saw that you have a long production, and no stay here for kindding, you play the game in the hard level lol
About this song... Yes, realy have the same vibe that iko iko hhahah Wen a listening a good acapella I try to imagine at the first what kind of drum lines it will good on it, so I found this nicely loop of DJFIBBS, an it seemed that have a good glue.
I don´t had to make anything on vocals, because I think that is no necessary change something that my ears like it. The big trouble, how our friend Cru had spoken, is how to make it interesting for the listener.
I am very hapy because you like it.
That reminds me the old tune "every little bits hurts"
Nice collage anyway the voice definitly brings something but the music is very well done too
Bravo !
i think it's a cool start that what can become a great track but for now it's a bit too repetitive but that just my feeling about it
Your previous track was more ambitious to me
Anyway keep on good job mate
It seems that we got another cool music project on it way !
Do you familiar with the work of Filastine mate ? I can see some connexion here (which is a good thing!)
the mix is nicely done too
bravo !
Real guitar ? Anyway it's a great guitar part
I like all the voices and the ambience of the lot
it got a bit of 90's cinematic vibe
i dog that track
well done
The guitar plugin is Evolution Strawberry from Orange Tree Samples. It's my go to plugin for lead guitar tracks. I have Shreddage 3 Stratus by Impactsoundworks for leads as well.Evolution Strawberry's a far more versatile plugin than Stratus is.
